Jay for the Win Jay was a part of the team that made the dream come true. He really worked with us getting exactly what we wanted. I believe he said he was working there since the 90s, and you can definitely tell his knowledge when it comes to auto loans and getting the best is mind blowing. I have not had an easier time buying a car than with Jay and Jose. Jay is also very down to earth, and he is up front with everything involving prices, interest rates, down payments, and etc... He worked really hard ,alongside of their sales number one guy in sales in my opinion Jose, to get me the deal I wanted. More
Negligent and incompetent Bought a brand new 2019 Corolla had a clicking noise brought it in for service where the assistant service manager Paul Humphreys said it was a hubcap Bought a brand new 2019 Corolla had a clicking noise brought it in for service where the assistant service manager Paul Humphreys said it was a hubcap so my son took the hubcap off left the dealership and had to come back and let them know it was still clicking and that there was still another noise they ordered a mirror but never ordered a hubcap of course they didn't it wasn't a hubcap so after bringing the vehicle back four more times because the handling of the vehicle was dangerous at speeds of over 70 miles an hour and wanted to know why the clicking wasn't fixed and why the car was dangerous John Newbold took several test drives in the car and said there was nothing wrong no kidding five visits to that dealership to get a problem fixed under warranty they put a steering calibration on the vehicle said everything was great so after communicating with corporate they recommended we bring the vehicle to another dealership which was very inconvenient so we did so a week later we went to Mike Erdman Toyota in Cocoa nice dealership to say the least we were not there more than 45 minutes before they put a machine that checks for sound on to the car and determined it had a faulty CVT transmission they had the car not even two full days returned it with a new transmission thank you Mike Erdman for resolving this issue and thank you John Newbold for nothing your dealership that you work for represents your work ethics because when trying to get your Superior was unable to even speak with the manager at the dealership that is why I had to call corporate to say the least I think your mechanics I knew there was a problem but since you are in charge I hold you completely responsible and negligent you owe us a minimum of $50 in gas I expect a gas card in the mail don't try to apologize on this website because all your apologies are as fake as you you are a shyster a crook or you are just incompetent either way I believe you should retire and let somebody like the service technician that found the problem in 20 minutes run that service department in Melbourne his name is Justin he was the best service tech I've experienced in weeks thank you Justin and thank you again Mike Erdman More
It just got worse, even after a second try........ Our first car purchase at Toyota of Melbourne a few years ago we thought went smooth-not so much. We traded in to upgrade a Yaris we use for work. My Our first car purchase at Toyota of Melbourne a few years ago we thought went smooth-not so much. We traded in to upgrade a Yaris we use for work. My husband got a call about a month later from Orlando Police Department wanting to know where I was. It appears that Toyota of Melbourne never took the car out of my name, sold it at auction and the person that purchased it didn't register it and did a crime. That was a mess. A few years later, we gave them the benefit of a doubt on that and tried again just over a month ago. They rushed us through the entire process (Sunday late afternoon), gave us a higher finance percentage than agreed upon, they set up the computer system in the car to my husband's phone and apps and not mine ( I am the primary driver) we had cash for a down payment and they never asked for it prior to doing the paperwork and they were suppose to use one of our old license plates (to save us money and it goes along with the business) and we get a completely different one in the mail after the tag expiration (due to this, we had to call to have them overnight us a second paper tag). They also pulled both of our credits TWICE which lowered us as we intended to finance it through our credit union. Despite, we refinanced a week after with our credit union for a way better percentage (almost nothing). Our daughter also purchased a vehicle there a few years ago upon our referral as well. Needless to say, should have gone with gut instinct and traveled to Toyota of Vero or Orlando. I felt like I didn't matter to those people at all and that they could do whatever they dang well felt like with me, my life and my paperwork. Can't say we didn't try...........they didn't try on their end!! More
