This was one of the worst experiences that I have had a Toyota at Dixie. When I scheduled my appointment, the girl scheduling was very sweet and gave me an appointment for the next day. I explained to her that I might not be able to do that but we scheduled it and she told me I could call back and reschedule if I couldn't make that work. When I called back about an hour later, a different girl answered and when I explained I would need to reschedule, she was very rude and acted like I was putting her out. She did schedule an appointment for me. (unfortunately, I didn't get either person's name.) When I took my vehicle in for my 2:30 appointment on March 21, Mike L checked me in. I found him very condescending as he made me feel like I was a dumb female or a child who did not know how to take care of my car. He told me that it had been 10,000 miles since my last oil change and it should be 5000 miles. I even had said when I first sat down that I knew I was really behind on my maintenance as there had been a great deal going on in my life and I wasn't happy that it was so late. When I discovered my maintenance plan had expired, he continued to be rude (in my opinion berating me) because he looked at the date of when I had my plan and told me the purpose of the plan was to get maintenance every 5000 miles. I told him understood that I had always tried to do that. He decided to tell me that wasn't true as there was a time that it was 7000 miles - I told him to just forget it and give me the oil change and tire rotation. He kept telling me he was trying to give me the information. That was fine but it was how he was giving me the information. I will not be going back to Toyota of Louisville Dixie for any more oil changes or maintenance on my vehicle. I will go for tire rotation as that is free with my tires that I bought from them. I am very disappointed in the treatment today. I do want to say that the gentleman that checks the mileage on the vehicle when you first pull in was very friendly and welcoming. L More

I’ve owned my Camry that I bought from Toyota of Louisville, and have used the service department for nearly every regular service it has needed. Without fail, this is the best car service experie Louisville, and have used the service department for nearly every regular service it has needed. Without fail, this is the best car service experience every single time. The lounges to wait in are comfortable, the communication about your auto’s service needs is complete and I find the pricing more than fair. My Camry is 7 years old and I feel confident that using the Toyota of Louisville service department will keep it going for many, many years to come. I appreciate everyone there and will be back for the next service in May! More
We appreciate John Carbone taking our car in with just a couple of hours notice, when we explained an issue with the alternator. He took down all the pertinent information. He then called when the problem was determined and explained in terms we could understand. As the problem was more than we expected, it required extra time to compete (and, that was understandable. When all repairs were completed (a brake problem was also found after further examining the car), John called to let us know. When we picked the car up, John took time from his busy afternoon to show us the repairs that were made. Service was excellent and John Carbine was a pleasure to deal with. More

Glen Harder, the gentleman who sold me my car continues to keep in touch to see how I am and how the Prius is running. Anytime I take the car in for an oil change he’s there to great me with a smile and god conversation. I appreciate their integrity, honesty, and wisdom about cars.
