Stereo/speaker issues I took a 2017 Highlander in because the bass in the stereo did not work, all sound came from the center speaker only in the front of the vehicle. A s I took a 2017 Highlander in because the bass in the stereo did not work, all sound came from the center speaker only in the front of the vehicle. A speaker in the back was busted as it “crackled” when sound played through it. Everything was described in detail. When i picked up the vehicle i was told that everything worked fine and there were no problems identified; i was told nothing was done to the stereo. At that time (not when i dropped the vehicle off but when i picked it up???)I listened to the stereo with the “internet sales person” (not a service person???) and pointed out the issues. He stated “yea it doesn’t sound like i would think a JBL stereo should sound.” I was told to return at another time with the vehicle and they would listen to the stereo in another comparable vehicle and compare the two (this wasn’t done at this visit even though i asked that it be done). My husband researched and found that this vehicle has never had an update to the sound system; we did this on our own at home and low and behold the stereo sounds much better!!! We did return the following day and pointed out the busted speaker and were told “oh yeah that needs to be replaced; we’ll have to get another speaker ordered.” So I guess we fixed our own problem even though this vehicle is still under warranty. Very poor customer service and even poorer ability to try to identify and remedy the issues by certified Toyota service people. And the stereo still doesn’t work appropriately; the volume decreases and increases at random while I am driving; the automatic volume equalizer has no effect on the sound whatsoever. I think I’ll research that problem too before i return to have the vehicle serviced. More

Recall Service Service people were very polite and professional. Facility was clean, and seemed well managed. Men's restroom cleanliness needs attention. However, Service people were very polite and professional. Facility was clean, and seemed well managed. Men's restroom cleanliness needs attention. However, most likely the clientele was responsible for making the mess. A very efficient time basis for getting the clientele in and out. The time estimate for servicing the two recalls was exact, awesome ! I would highly recommend this service center. More

Best they could do with power failure The waiting room was full then the power went out in that part of town. Toyota Longview did everything they could to get customers out the door. My wait was about an hr longer than normal so it was no big deal. Once they got back online, customers were getting checked out briskly. All and all, I was happy. Could have been worse and could have happened anywhere, Thought they could have bought me lunch tho! :-) More
