This by far was the best buying experences I have ever had. The people are wonderful and thoughtful. The whole team was wonderful thru the whole transaction. I had an issue and they took care of it right had. The people are wonderful and thoughtful. The whole team was wonderful thru the whole transaction. I had an issue and they took care of it right away at their expense,it was around $500.00. They said the way I approached them was very kind and I beleive you always get more with honey than you do with viniger and that has always been my approach. I wish other business could do as well as they do. Thank you so much. I think it is important that I take the time to make everyone aware how great they are, because as you can see they sell alot of cars and service thousands of people and only a few have comments and as the norm they tend to be negative.I know they take care of alot of their customers ,as if they did not I am sure they would not be in business for almost 90 years !!! Thank you again grossingers !!!!!! Very Satisfied. More
I purchased a vehicle on 10-28-08. This was a 2004 Lexus for $20K. The windshield was cracked, lighter not working, vanity mirror not working, and front bumper scratched.. The sales rep RENATO assured me for $20K. The windshield was cracked, lighter not working, vanity mirror not working, and front bumper scratched.. The sales rep RENATO assured me these items would be repaired. Was given the car without an owner's manual as well. Brought the car back the following day and was given a "loaner" which was extremely dirty. Returned to following day approx. 2 hours earlier than planned and they hadn't even looked at the car. My understanding was ALL REPAIRS were supposed to have been made. This was why they kept the vehicle overnight. Was first told the parts were burned out and a part needed to be ordered. Was then told it was just a fuse and it was replaced. Never looked at the windshield or the vanity mirror. Made appt to bring the car back again. Brought the car back and was again given a "loaner." This "loaner" did not start the next morning thus I had to call a cab to get to work the following morning. Grossinger picked me up from my job (a mile from the dealership) with MY VEHICLE and I brought Grossinger employee to my house where he could not start the car. He took the keys with him. Perhaps 2 or 3 evenings later a tow truck driver calls me and asks "what kind of car is it I am having towed?" I explained this is Grossinger's vehicle call them. He called 2 or 3 times requesting to know what kind of vehicle and telling me to bring him keys. This was a joke. Apparently they pay no attention to "DETAIL." Upon closer inspection of my vehicle, they repaired the scratch and broke the bumper (missing a clip), car had been driven approx. 50 miles and was down 1/4 tank of gas. All they had done was touch up the scratch. Windshield is still broken, vanity mirror is still not working and now the bumper is damaged. Grossinger says in "good faith" they will mail me a check for my cab fare which I incurred because their "loaner" car would not start and when I'm down 1/4 tank of gas to bring it in and they will fill it. They advise me that all the rest is at my cost? I am still arguing with them as of this date. If anyone else has had similar problems I would love to hear about it. Wouldn't shop there again if you paid me. More
These are the kind of dealorships which give the industry a bad name!!!!!! Asked for a deposit on a car in which there was a long waiting list I asked if the deposit was refundable and they said of course a bad name!!!!!! Asked for a deposit on a car in which there was a long waiting list I asked if the deposit was refundable and they said of course! the next day i changed my mind since i needed the car quicker than i thought since my old car broke down. A month later they still won't give me my money back!!! Don't believe me, call up and say you have an issue and would like to speak with a manager. nobody is in! I have never written reviews on the internet before since i don't have much time on my hands but if i can save one person fm the disaster at this dealership it will have been worth the time!! More
I am disgusted at the way your company handled customers. My parents came to the dealership located at 7225 N. Cicero Ave. in the city of Lincolnwood on May 3rd, 2007 at around 9:00 PM. As they proceeded to My parents came to the dealership located at 7225 N. Cicero Ave. in the city of Lincolnwood on May 3rd, 2007 at around 9:00 PM. As they proceeded to the last step of purchasing a car, they were insulted by the Finance Officer. Although we do not know his name, I have narrowed it down to either Jake Lubinsky or Tom Galloway. I will be confirming either name in my next email. I have no had a chance to personally seek him out because I was so enraged as I left the dealership. The situation occurred where he had told my parents that they were uneducated people for not knowing the finance rates of a car. How dare someone is this country treat customers with that kind of respect! To think a company like Toyota has part in disrespecting their customers is mind-blowing. We immediately walked out with our check because we were so insulted! In terms of what I want to be done: it is not much to ask. I want a personal apology to my parents from the Finance officer that was working that night. The home number they can be reached at is (847) 329- 7922. I will see to it that this matter is handled in a timely matter. I am very disappointed at Toyota. More
these guys worked the deal worked me over and took advantage of me. when my financing fell through instead of making a deal and maybe offering another car that would fit my budget i was talked around advantage of me. when my financing fell through instead of making a deal and maybe offering another car that would fit my budget i was talked around and over if my boyfriend hadn't along i would have been sapped with a 17,900 car 24% interest and almost 500 on a note. i was scared and unaware that car salesmen were such slime. they acted so nice but in my heart i knew something was going very wrong but i'm in the rebuilding process and they tried to take advantage. always know your out the door price the monthly will work itself out always know your final price! I purchased a Sequia recently and the issue was the advertise and bait issue. The model I pointed out in the paper was a demo model. I also asked them about the fine print on the financing but they fa advertise and bait issue. The model I pointed out in the paper was a demo model. I also asked them about the fine print on the financing but they failed to honor it. The manager pointed out to a last paragraph stating all errors or ommisions is not honored. They have been running the ad for more than a month with the same financing, I check all my previous listing and I am sure they are con ing the public with un-attainable financing rate, just to get you in there. The financing dept is another joker. where he will insist that your credit scores is not great. Does not look in the eye, and trys to switch and bait you with a 9 -10 % interest. They made a mistake in applying my accessory payment ( I wanted to add a remote start) and applied it to the downpayment. And when I came back they said they have no record stating that I only put more down. So I had to pay a little extra because it was not done during time of purchase. I would recommend to stay away from this company, switch and bait plus bad financing that if you are desperate will go thru the hassle and if you want to be taken for go to Grossinger. The name it self spelled out my experience GROSS and maybe thats part of the reason of the name. More

On October 14, 2006 , I visited the GrossingerToyota North dealership to look at a Toyota Tacoma, but one of the managers treated me badly. Forgive me for not remember his name. I was bargained on the p North dealership to look at a Toyota Tacoma, but one of the managers treated me badly. Forgive me for not remember his name. I was bargained on the price for the Toyota Tacoma but we didn't come to the agreement, so I decided to leave the dealership. The manager walked behind me and said that I had no common sense and I wasted his time. As a manager, he shouldn’t have act the way he was and he shouldn't have made those comments to the customers. Overall, I was not satisfied with the service and I just want to bring to the dealership attention the way I got treated. Losing a customer like me probably wouldn't hurt your business, but believe me it will hurt your business in the long run. best regards, A very unsatisfied customer More
