Most Deceitful, Incompetent Dealer ever experienced From the first salesman to the next and the next, I found them to be deceitful, with constant failure to follow through by not returning calls and not From the first salesman to the next and the next, I found them to be deceitful, with constant failure to follow through by not returning calls and not giving the quotes they were to contact me with. After getting no responses to messages left, getting told over and over they were busy with a customer and would call back, only to either call back many days later, or not call back at all, I said to myself, forget this place. The level of incompetency and shady quotes was as bad as you could get. Then I look them up and find there are endless numbers of customers who wrote about how they were either bilked, lied to, or a host of other issues. No thanks; I wouldn't touch this dealership with a ten foot pole ADDENDUM: I was told by Will Price, who had to go through M. Curtis, his manager, "I don't know anything about any price changing thru Costco Auto Program." His continual silence and having to ask him to answer and not be silent is not how any customer should have to deal with. And, Mr. Curtis, whom I had contacted about the lack of return calls, including leaving voice mails, from Will Price. Mr. Curtis has the nerve to tell me, after this dealership had WASTED about 2 weeks of my time, costing me about $450 on rental car charges, that "We're going to get you this car just to get rid of you, as all your complaints is going to get us audited." Then, THREE days later, two days of which there was absolutely NO communication from Mr. Price or Mr. Curtis, they start calling that they got permission from Costco to "match the price from the other dealership quote, which I'll provide the details of THAT in a review on them." How strange, when I could get either the regular Costco Auto Program Customer Service agents, or the higher level Customer Advocates nearly any day of the week, until 7pm CST. But Grossinger claimed their contact was gone before 4 pm! One day prior, I located a dealer, not using the Costco program (they are NOT the cheapest route, if you know your stuff, and tell dealerships if they want to sell a car and can sufficiently beat the price, you can do BETTER. After locating that dealer, I dealt with them and got the car, in the color I wanted, and even the mats at NO cost. If I had been treated right, expediently, and not rudely and continuously ignored by at least 3 of them, AND been told they could provide the car from their other facility, without the $249 mats, they would have had a sale. I would have been out the extra money I saved, but that would have been my situation, thanks to Costco's ill-devised and ill-run program. But, at Grossinger, from day ONE, it was evident that everyone I dealt with was simply greedy, with their top interest being how many sales they could make, instead of having INTEGRITY and following through with the customer who is ready to buy. They only have themselves to blame for everything that happened. They should be reimbursing me for $450 of NEEDLESS expense on a rental car, due to their negligence, inability to focus, and follow through with such basic tasks ANY car dealership and everyone of their salespersons should have, yet alone managers, like Mr. Curtis, who didn't want to bother to speak to me, and was only reached by Costco, and then Mr. Curtis tosses it back to the SAME salesman, Will Price, whose unacceptable delays, not returning calls, tellling receptionists who could see him and pne, in particular, had the human decency and empathy when told how he was handling me, was determined to and promised me she would get him on the phone; to which Price sabotaged her efforts by having someone else pick up the phone and tell me he was busy. Busy, busy, busy --- you don't continually make this excuse - you TAKE the time, even if it be 2 minutes to tell you he is very sorry, but can't speak at this moment. And there were several times when I COULD get him to answer his cell or his extension where he said this; but then NEVER followed through, and I would have to call multiple times on both cell and his dealer extension, and STILL WAIT for either a much delayed response, or NO response. I have tried to fill in the gaps, so anyone reading this will know what they are getting themselves into with Grossinger Toyota. More

Go Elsewhere! My wife and I visited six dealerships in the Chicagoland area over the past few weeks. Grossinger Toyota North was by far the worst customer service My wife and I visited six dealerships in the Chicagoland area over the past few weeks. Grossinger Toyota North was by far the worst customer service we experienced. We visited this dealership twice. The first time we visited no one greeted us when we walked onto the showroom floor. We walked around and examined several of the show room cars and no one ever approached us, even though there was large group of employees laughing and joking at the showroom floor desk. My wife and I decided to leave and go to a different dealership. The second time we visited we made an appointment ahead of time to test drive a Toyota Highlander. The appointment was confirmed four times in the same day (email, text, two phone calls), which was a little annoying. When we arrived, about five minutes before our appointment time, the sales person we were scheduled to meet, Damara, was not there. We waited fifteen minutes past our appointment time for Damara who arrived with a greasy paper bag of fast food that she plopped on her desk while she spoke with us. Damara was unprofessional and her first sales tactic was to bad mouth the competitor vehicles we were considering rather than to tell us the benefits and features of the Highlander, which she told us absolutely nothing about. After twenty minutes, during which she took copies of our driver's licenses, walked around, and made several phone calls, she informed us the Highlander we made an appointment to test drive was getting detailed and not at the dealership. My wife was so furious she grabbed our driver's license copies and walked out. We wasted about and hour of our time, despite having an appointment. The following day we visited CJ Wilson Mazda. We made an appointment to test drive a CX-9 and the vehicle was waiting for us when we arrived. The salesman, Tim McGrath, gave us excellent customer service, showed us all the features, and told us all the benefits of owning a Mazda CX-9. We told him we were considering competitor vehicles but he never badmouthed the competition. We test drove and purchased the CX-9 in about two hours total, including paperwork (Huge xxxxxxto Tim Mcgrath at CJ Wilson Mazda, an amazing example of what a professional sales person should be). We will never go to Grossinger Toyota North again and you shouldn't either. We learned our lesson twice so that you wouldn't have to. More
