This is a follow up to my review on 3 November 2021. Less than eight months later, the car that I paid cash for at about $15k, needs a $7k repair due to the engine needing a complete tear down and repla Less than eight months later, the car that I paid cash for at about $15k, needs a $7k repair due to the engine needing a complete tear down and replacement. To make matters worse, the service desk at the Kia dealership I brought the car to (also Leader Automotive) assures me that the vehicle was sold with a recall outstanding that addresses this very problem. Somehow, the dealership hid this recall from me, and it wasn’t completed and the vehicle was sold to me in this condition. I think these guys have a clever scam going where they sell the car from one dealership but profit off the expensive repairs at another dealership in the same company. Severely disappointed. When I called the salesman to see what could be done, he basically said “it’s been 10 months (it had been 8), it’s not 2 weeks later, there’s not much I can do”. Not great service for a place I’d written a $15,000 check to, I was very surprised. More
