New Camry Hybrid - LoJack install We had to return for LoJack installation that was not completed in the week earlier. Had it not been for a remote LoJack install cancellation(?) call We had to return for LoJack installation that was not completed in the week earlier. Had it not been for a remote LoJack install cancellation(?) call we would not have even known the install was incomplete. In any event... Service person Sean was very good, polite, patient. He listened, then explained features that were unclear to me at time of purchase. Upon completion, he took a few more minutes to assure that my wife and I were familiar with the car, answering my several questions. These were more of a technical nature. He patiently listened to each question then gave clear answers. I WAS IMPRESSED. In fact our milage has improved as he suggested was common, going from a paltry 34 MPG to 49.5 MPG on the road. WE STILL HAVE NOT SEEN 50 MPG, OR CLOSE TO IT, IN CITY, BUT HOPE TO SEE THAT SOON AS WELL. The young salesman, Colin, who walked us through our purchase also came over. He had noticed us drive in and welcomed us. He is impressive as well. Polite, TRUTHFUL, and while new to Toyota, he made a very favorable impression upon us. He is a keeper. My only regret was buying at dusk/night. The brochures showed a solid wheel for the Toyota Camry Hybrid, not cheap wheels with plastic covers we discovered the next day at home. Shock. Coupled with our really poor fuel economy driving home, I was super frustrated. We also stopped to see Ian in finance, who also walked me through various points in the invoice that seemed like double billing to me earlier. I knew him from earlier purchases. He ill the day of purchase and sounded worse on our last visit, but he also was still patient, considerate, and explained each line of the contract. I already knew him to be truthful from earlier deals settled in his office years earlier. Customer waiting area was clean, friendly, spacious. Both shuttle drivers were terrific, prompt, courteous, very good driving skills, safe! Finally, we are delighted to hear Wright is the new owner. Wright Toyota in Bakersfield has a manager, Kevin J, who remains probably the most ethical and trustworthy auto sales guy I ever met. I realize that it will take a little time, but frankly, if Wright builds on what was first established in Lancaster and develops staff like Manager Jergens, I think Toyota of Lancaster will become one very awesome company. I've notice a lot of employees working there and no-one seem to care at all . They are so focus on doing the one job that they are programmed to do. I guess you would say, they're a robot. I was lost trying to find the lobby, while you're facility is under construction. I just bought my car a few months ago, its a Yaris IA. I was offered two years free maintains service. I didn't realized two years meant only 3 free maintain services. Then why even bother to offer two years free maintains. On a side note: I bought this 2018 Yaris IA and it came with a small crack on the bumper, I spoke with the manager to request to have it repair, he offered no solutions because it was not a paint chip crack. How is this my problem, apparently its my job to bring it to someone attention which I did at my first oil changed. NO, resolution what so ever, thank you Toyota! I used to believe in your company because you make good cars, I had a great experience at Lungo Toyota but Lancaster Toyota is a different story. More
