Good guys do exist. Even better, good auto salespeople exist. Right here at Toyota of Keene. Prior to my visit to this dealership, I had had very bad experiences with different Toyota groups near exist. Right here at Toyota of Keene. Prior to my visit to this dealership, I had had very bad experiences with different Toyota groups near my home in Manchester, NH. I had all but given up buying a Toyota. Then, a friend encouraged me to try Keene. I must say that I was NOT enthusiastic. Having been treated so poorly by the dealerships near my home, I did not want to travel almost two hours to receive more bad treatment from another Toyota dealer. The other groups had done bait-and-switches, low-balled my trade-in, high-balled their new car or did quick fancy math with fees and other figures. I knew how much my trade-in was worth. I knew how much I could pay. I knew I was being fair. My friend told me that Toyota of Keene was different. I began with an email conversation with Stacy Curtis the customer advocate at Toyota of Keene. I explained my hesitation to her and told her of my other experiences. Stacy assured me that this would not happen with Toyota of Keene. She set me up to deal directly with the Sales Manager, Scott Webber. From the very moment I walked into the door, I felt I was in a different environment. Folks were friendly. Genuinely friendly. You could tell they liked working with one another. I was offered pizza and something to drink. Almost every single salesman came by to say hello. I did NOT feel that I was about to be had. No fake smiles. No fast math. Nobody playing shell games. Just good, honest folks who knew their product and who were genuinely happy to help. When I walked into the salesroom in Keene, Scott Webber came right over and shook my hand. Told me that he had heard of my previous encounters. Promised my Keene visit would be good. And boy was it! Scott introduced me to my salesman Joel Robinson. Joel began the process of taking my data, looking at my trade-in and discussing the Prius that I wanted to purchase. He already knew my figures. But he had to check my trade-in. He returned. Said everything looked good. We were ready to close. Off we went to the finance manager Steve Hill. Steve was not pushy. He was thorough and honest. He did not try to sell me anything I did not want. He explained all of my options and immediately agreed with my decision. In fact, I changed my decision about warranties in mid-stream. Steve was patient and understanding even then. And, like the others, obviously liked working at Toyota of Keene. This part was done in about 5 minutes. What?! So easy? So quick?! Honestly, I kept being ready for the other shoe to drop. For them to begin spinning numbers. Or telling me that while my trade-in was excellent it just wasn't really that excellent. Or that they just couldn't meet the price of the new car that I wanted. Or that they couldn't get me the car that I wanted, but for just $5,000 more I could get another car. All of those excuses I had already heard over and over. My tummy was in a knot as I readied myself for yet another bad Toyota moment. But. It. Just. Did. Not. Happen. We completed ALL of the paperwork. Done. Then, Joel took me outside to go over any questions I still might have about the new Prius. My new license plates were already on my car. They even put a taped coating on the temporary plates as it is winter and without protection the paper plates would have been destroyed by snow and salt and slush in just a brief time. My old plates from my trade-in were placed in the back of the new car. Everything was all set to go. Joel, then, showed me several new accessories that my new car had. He told me to call him whenever I had a question. Or email him. Whichever worked for me. It was so wonderfully easy. As it should be. Everywhere. I walked in the door at 1 PM. I left around 3 PM. Very happy! I will never buy from anyone but Toyota of Keene. Ever. Go there. Be happy, too! More
The employees at Toyota of Keene made buying a car fun. They were friendly and honest and I have already recommended them to several friends. I would reccomend this dealership to friends and family because the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. We both were very pleased with the friendliness and the honesty of David Cox and Michael Downs. We were very pleased with the length of time it took and that we were not hassled. It was one of the best experiences we have ever had at a car dealership! My father owns a Toyota Tacoma and will be going there to deal with those 2 gettlemen when he is ready to trade his truck in for a new one! This is my fourth lease with Toyota so I am very familiar with their performance and value. Excellent customer service by both Toyota of Keene and Jaime Rios- I have been exclusively using this dealership and Jaime since 2002. It's the only place I will go. Jaime was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, helpful, polite, and wonderful to work with. He answered all of our questions promptly and thoroughly, treated us with respect, accommodated our sche helpful, polite, and wonderful to work with. He also seemed very knowledgeable about the product, its history and the car sales world in general. He had an in-depth knowledge of the vehicle we were buying and all of its aspects. We were confident that we were getting factual and helpful information from him at every point and trusted his integrity immediately. He went above and beyond what we expected and we will certainly call on him again when we are in the market for another vehicle. I believe we got a great deal on a great car from a great salesman! Why am I not suprised that Toyota of Keene has a "5" rating?? This is a staight shooter dealership!! I NEVER feel dooped when I shop for a car there. I took my mother shopping here because of my past experiences with this dealership. She had a bad experience the day before with another dealer and I knew I could trust Toyota of Keene to treat us with the respect, kindness and honesty I have always received in the past and grew to trust in. A two thumbs up AGAIN for Toyota of Keene! And if I had more thumbs, they'd have those too! :) Thank you to Mike for all your help today. My mother loves her new Camry. I’d like to give a big ‘thumbs up’ to Michael Wells and Toyota of Keene for being both customer friendly and enjoyable to work with. I first visited the dealership and met Michael six months ago when my son was looking for a used car. We didn’t purchase from the dealership at that time, but Michael Wells was so great to work with that I asked for his business card and said I’d be back in touch when I was ready to trade in my Toyota RAV4. I called him last week to let him know I was starting to do my homework and poke around dealerships in the state where I live (Massachusetts). And that's what I did until I traded in my ’99 RAV4 for a new ’11 RAV4 at Toyota of Keene last night. If you want a salesperson who is very likeable, honest, down to earth, and willing to work with you, then don’t waste time … drive straight to Toyota of Keene and ask for Michael Wells. And while you’re there, you’ll meet a great number of others at the dealership who will greet you with a smile and a nod. Matter of fact, theirs was the only dealership I visited that made me feel like a valued customer long before I signed the paperwork. I’m looking forward to a very long and happy partnership with the folks up in Keene. More
