We have made several attempts to reach you by phone and have made even more attempts to have my sales manager ask for you to call me. I do not understand your statement that the last time we spoke I said I would take care of you it was disastrous when in fact we did exactly what I said we would do take care of the vehicle if there was a problem with the clutch. We brought your vehicle in as promised on a day that you felt would work for you. Once the technician diagnosed your vehicle we realized we would need to order that part because we only wanted to use Subaru parts and we did not stock the Flywheel. We ordered the parts and put you in a rental car at no cost to you. We then updated you several times on the status of your vehicle. When the parts arrived late Monday we immediately put a technician on the vehicle and repaired the clutch. We found that the clutch was replace by the previous owner and they neglected to also replace the throw out bearing. This component is not something you can check without the removal of the transmission and would not have been detected in a normal safety check. We replaced the clutch pressure plate flywheel and throw out bearing. After a proper test drive I then called you personally informing you that your vehicle was ready and we would arrange to drive it back to you because of the distance you live from our stores, at that time we would pick up our rental vehicle. I called you no less than 6 times thereafter leaving a message twice. I also called you again and left yet another message. Sometime after you had your neighbor call on your behalf. I called and left him a message explaining that I could only speak with you. He called me back and after a brief discussion agreed we went above and beyond, something he wished his dealer had done for him. At this point your vehicle is completed and in full working order. Please know that the engine did not seize, the clutch malfunctioned and thus has been repaired. Please also note that a 12 month, 12,000 mile warranty has been included on the parts we installed. I am sorry this experience did not go as smoothly as we would have both liked but I believe we have done everything in our power to make things right.
