Deceptive and dishonest I am not writing this review because I couldn't get the price I wanted, but because the dealer eventually became deceptive and dishonest to get me to I am not writing this review because I couldn't get the price I wanted, but because the dealer eventually became deceptive and dishonest to get me to come back after I walked away. The dealership failed to honor the promised deal and in doing so wasted my time. For a dealer of this stature (probably one of a kind), and the second top seller in the nation they deploy some unethical sales tactics when they become desperate. My first encounter with Camilo was on a Saturday and it was great, he didn't promise me anything he couldn't deliver. I decided to grab my wife so she can pick out a car but when I came back Camilo was busy, so I was now being helped by Tamy, who was also knowledgeable and helpful. Everything was good, I thought at this time if there was anywhere I would get a good deal, it would be this place. I was wrong. Prior to coming in I had my credit run by them and I knew what the approval was. While at the store they asked me for my ID to verify my identity, I gave it to them an explicitly said "Do not run my credit, you already ran it and I already obtained credit thru my credit union" they said they would not. Moments later while eating at the onsite Subway our phones go off and notify us of another credit pull (the second one by them in a week) totally disregarding my requests. I let them know about the notification I received, they denied any wrongdoing and said even if they did it will not affect my score. Anyways, to cut to the chase we spent the entire day there and were unable to come to a deal. Their first offer was not at all aggressive and we went back in fourth but agreed the deal I wanted was unattainable, shook hands and left. The following Sunday morning I received an email from Javar Crocket asking if there was anything to do to earn the business, I said nothing has changed but if they could do the deal I offered I would be interested. Almost immediately I received a phone call saying, "they had a change of heart" and would be willing to work the deal If I came down. I confirmed the deal over the phone, he said he would call me back in an hour after he got an approval. I called him back a few hours later, he said the deal was countered and they would do 26k out the door with their financing at a 3.49% rate to make up the difference or my 25K OTD with my own financing, I agreed. I got my wife from doing what she was doing, made arrangements for the kid, got my tag and bank draft and went down there only to find out they would not honor it. Javar was no where to be found. Eventually the sales manager Jose M. came into the picture where he tried to switch vehicles on me, tried to add term, tried to sell me a payment rather than a price, apologized for the guy that made the offer and refused to introduce me to him. He tried to add value by showing us the used market and comparing prices, but also would not honor the price. He did everything but honor the deal. A dealer has a right to hold back on a sale and a seller has a right to walk away but employing these tactics to make a deal is completely unethical. Toyota of Hollywood uses their aesthetic appearance and modern touch to distract you from the fact that they are no better than some of the worst in the business. Toyota is a good product, the cars sell themselves they don't need to lie to consumers. The fact is if Toyota of Hollywood would have just left it as a "dead deal" rather than lie to get me back in the door, they wouldn't be getting a bad review. I wouldn't have held it against them. Please take the time to read the reviews as Yelp is one of the best sources for legitimate experiences. More

Your Stereotypical Sleazy Car Dealer Let me start by saying I've bought a lot of cars, I like to trade my cars often and I'm usually the one who helps all my family buy a car so I have de Let me start by saying I've bought a lot of cars, I like to trade my cars often and I'm usually the one who helps all my family buy a car so I have dealt with a LOT of dealers. Toyota of Hollywood is by FAR the worst! I emailed various dealers looking for out the door pricing on a new 2020 Corolla LE for my mother. A so called Bruno Ruiz from Toyota Hollywood responded with the best price, I tried to respond to Bruno to ask about color availability, no response, I called Bruno before going to the dealer, no answer. Since the dealer was on our way home we decided to just stop by. Very big fancy dealership, even had live music. Showroom filled with the new supras (which by the way they mark up by $14,500 on top of the MSRP, dealer we ended up buying from did not mark the up at all so consider that if you are looking at a supra). Go to the front desk ask for Bruno, sure no problem he will be out shortly. Bruno never showed instead some sales lady named Karolin Ramons comes out. Very friendly chatting up my mom. We show her the emails from Bruno with the price he gave us, she says no problem if Bruno gave you that price that will be the price. She then proceeds to waste a bunch of our time walking through the lot looking for the color my mom wanted. Last I checked fancy dealers also have fancy computers than can tell you if the car is in stock instantly. However this is all part of their sleazy old school sales tactics to wear you out. Just like how they took her license to enter her info but did not give it back so she could not leave. Anyways like an hour later after walking around, driving to different lots etc we get back and she brings us some ridiculous price no where near what "Bruno" quoted. We tell her no. Comes back with the manager Jose Morales, imagine the most stereotypical, sleazy, used car salesman, that was Jose Morales. Claiming Bruno said this or that or that the car Bruno mentioned didn't exist blah blah blah. Oh and the mythical Bruno who started all this was nowhere to be found. How convenient... Personally I was ready to walk out the moment she brought out the first price that wasn't exactly what "Bruno" quoted. After that I already knew the type of dealer they were. However dirtbag Jose Morales kept yapping his mouth at my mom telling her to look at the MSRP and all the dealer none sense in the book. Oh it's only $700, yeah, it's ONLY $700 maybe the multimillion dollar dealer with 20 new supras in the showroom and a live band should eat the $700 and not the old lady on social security. That right there should tell you what kind of low lifes you have here. I just walked out told my mom to go and went to the car (I know she was not doing anything without me). Jose Morales literally follows her all the way to the freaking car, I was going to open the trunk to see if he wanted to come along. Unbelievable. Drove over to Earl Stewart Toyota and had the complete opposite experience. From start to finish they were professionals, gave us the exact price they quoted on the exact car we wanted and even got a better deal on the financing that we were expecting. To top it off saved like $700 over Toyota Hollywood (and we didn't even get to financing with Mr Morales, can only image THAT spectacle). That being said I would even pay MORE for a car before I would give Toyota Hollywood a penny!!! Whatever you do, do not buy a car here unless A.) You want to over pay or B.) You enjoy wasting the whole day dealing with xxxxxxxx. If you had a "great" experience here, just based on their sales tactics, I can guarantee you you over paid one way or another. More

Terrible Customer Service I made an appointment and brought my car in for service. I waited two hours for the service rep to tell me what needed to be done - two hours before I made an appointment and brought my car in for service. I waited two hours for the service rep to tell me what needed to be done - two hours before they even looked at my car. Then it was another three hours to complete the work. Part of the work involved the brakes, for which the tires need to be removed. They had the nerve to charge me for a tire rotation, when the tires had to be removed anyway. I've had my car since 2012, and have brought it to other Toyota dealers for every scheduled service. I have never had a bad experience until now. I will find another another service place, and so should you. More
