This place is absolutely awful. They sold a vehicle that was noted to reserve for myself and as I was walking in with $1000 cash for a retainer fee, they were selling the car to someone else. I was interested in purchasing a Highlander Hybrid Platinum. Salesman contacted me about what I wanted. Told him I wanted the Moon Dust with the glazed caramel interior, running boards, paint protecti Platinum. Salesman contacted me about what I wanted. Told him I wanted the Moon Dust with the glazed caramel interior, running boards, paint protection film: hood and door. Was told he would need to search. A couple of days later salesman got in touch with me said they found one and messaged me with the specifics on the car. We agreed on a price with the dealership including carpeted floor mats. Salesman said if I wanted it, I would need to put down a deposit, which I then paid $1000. I was told by the salesman they had the dealerships name put on the car to be delivered to them. After 4 weeks I emailed the salesman about any word on delivery. He did not respond. I then texted him, he responded with "can I call you for a short phone conversation". When he called, he now said they could not find the car with what the color I wanted. Would I be interested in another color. We said NO. I got no explanation as to what happened with the car they sent information on. I feel like I was misled at the very start that a car was found. I have dealt with this dealership for 5 years for service ( which was top notch) on our 2012 highlander. I wish I could say that for the sales department. As of right now I will no longer give then my business. I will take my business to another Toyota dealer who will treat me better. More
I bought 2 new cars from here. Our sales rep was awesome. The service department was great. Now I've move out of state and traded my car. I've left multiple messages for multiple people for 2 wee awesome. The service department was great. Now I've move out of state and traded my car. I've left multiple messages for multiple people for 2 weeks to get information on cancelling my extended warranty and services plan. NO ONE has returned by calls. I've now emailed and did live chat on website with no return call. So my last experience with Greenville Toyota is going to sour me on my entire experience. More

Darrell Washington, Toyota of Greenville, SCI cannot Darrell Washington, Toyota of Greenville, SC I cannot say enough about the awesome and straightforward experience I had from the moment I called th Darrell Washington, Toyota of Greenville, SC I cannot say enough about the awesome and straightforward experience I had from the moment I called this dealership and spoke with Darrell. I had been shopping for a specific Toyota Model for over two months, visited 3 local dealerships, and spoke with two others by phone. The 3 in-person visits each lasted a minimum of two hours while the salesperson basically went from insinuating he would be giving me the best deal he could, but in the end, there was actually no deal. The other two phone visits were pretty much the same - a Costco discount, but that was all. Long story short, each dealer gave me a quote of what they said was the Costco discount, but then informed me that if I used that discount, I wouldn’t be eligible for additional Toyota dealer discounts, NOR would I be eligible for any of their Toyota special financing. (Their dealer discounts were minimal) Even though Toyota Greenville was a two hour drive from me, I decided to check with them. I emailed the same specs I had given the other dealers to Darrell, I did not tell him what the other quotes were - just that I felt like I was being taken advantage of. Within minutes I received a quote from Darrell via email , which included the Costco discount, plus his dealership discount, and finance options as well..The difference in final cost was almost $6000 for the same exact car. I let him know I wanted the car. He had to secure the car with a “swap” from another dealer which took a few days. When the car arrived, I had just gotten out of the hospital and was unable to make the drive to pick up the car for a few weeks. Darrel overnighted the paperwork to me so I could read it and sign, and within a few days he took his time to make the 4 hour drive and delivered the car to me. I never even had to go into the dealership. I recommend Darrell to anyone interested in purchasing a Toyota. Best and easiest car buying experience I have EVER had. Their customer service is the absolute BEST. LOVE TOYOTA! More
I bought a 2008 used Escalade from this dealership on Tuesday. I was told up front that the rear lift gate would not auto raise and lower but that it could still be opened manually. Well I was able to get it to open at the dealership so I said fine. The next day the mechanism that works with the motor and latch failed and you have to force the tailgate to open, it doesn’t just manually open anymore. I told them I understood why they didn’t want to pay Cadillac to fix it but that I would like $359 bucks disbursed for me to buy the parts and fix it myself. So far I have gotten the run around and the old “The person you need to ask isn’t here today” I just don’t understand the hangup over less than 400 bucks. Oh well I guess that’s car dealers. We had a wonderful experience with Toyota of Greenville. We were able to make an appointment with James Durham this morning, and when we arrived he had the car we were interested in ready to go for a te We were able to make an appointment with James Durham this morning, and when we arrived he had the car we were interested in ready to go for a test drive! He told us of all the new features with the car as we drove along. We later met with Rebecca Bugg for the financial discussion as well as warranty options. Everyone was extremely well versed and efficient with all the details. Steve Merritt from service even spoke with us about options we might be interested in for warranty. When we were done the vehicle was prepped and ready for us to drive off the lot!! You couldn't ask for more! They are like a well oiled machine, and we will continue our relationship with them for years to come! More
