Poor Customer Service Horrible customer service and sales experience. My father purchased a new Tacoma and did not think to look under the truck for a spare tire as it was Horrible customer service and sales experience. My father purchased a new Tacoma and did not think to look under the truck for a spare tire as it was a new truck. 1 week later the truck went into Toyota of Greensburg for rust proofing. After he picked up the truck, we looked under the truck to see how the rust proofing looked and realized that there was no spare tire under the truck. We then called Toyota of Greensburg thinking that the spare tire was possible removed for rust proofing and then not put back under the truck. However they advised that they do not remove the spare tire for rust proofing. After further review, it appears that the truck was sold to my father without a spare tire. We first tried to reach out to the sales person that sold my father the truck and left him a message to return our call regarding this issue. After many passing days, no call was returned which resulted in us reaching back out to Toyota of Greensburg in which we were notified that the sales person received our message and decided to pass the issue to service with no follow up call back to us advising that he was passing the issue to service (it was clear that the sales person had his sale and now did not want to be bothered by any of our concerns. Note: not the proper way to operate a respected business). After additional calls with managers, one manager was respectful and decided to ask the employees that take the new vehicles off of the arriving delivery trucks if they check for spare tires when the vehicles come off of the delivery trucks. This manager called us back and advised that the employees that preform this function advised that they do not check for spare tires and that they probably should from now on. This manager then reached out to the service manager and advised them to call us. This service manager called us and to our surprise advised that all vehicles are checked for a spare tire when they are taken off the delivery truck. We asked the service manager if he preforms this function himself to which he advised that he does not, his employees do (note: the employees that advised that they do not actually check for spare tires). At this point, we advised the sales manager that the previous manager that spoke with the employees that inspect the vehicles on arrival were told from the employees that preform this inspection process do not check for spare tires. The service manager then suggested that the tire must have been stollen, however my father had the truck for only 1 week and all hardware under the truck that hold the spare tire in place is not damaged, tampered with any way. and is fully wound up under the vehicle in proper fashion. The evidence appears to show that the truck was sold to my father with no spare tire and unfortunately we were treated with great disrespect and horrible customer service at this dealership. We will never purchase a vehicle from this dealership ever again and always spread the word when speaking to others about the poor experience we had and to never go to Toyota of Greensburg. More

Excellent Dealership This was my first experience buying a car long-distance over the web. After our prior car was totaled and dealing with a horrific local dealer, we wi This was my first experience buying a car long-distance over the web. After our prior car was totaled and dealing with a horrific local dealer, we widened our search area for a vehicle that turned out to be harder to find than expected. Toyota of Greensburg had just what we were looking for, but being just over 500 miles away made me very cautious about how this would go. Fortunately, working with Joel Dittman made this a perfect experience. Joel was more than willing to take plenty of photos and videos of the vehicle for me, answer all our questions, and honestly act as my eyes and ears on the ground. Looking at a used vehicle I was not expecting to find a flawless one, and Joel had no hesitation about pointing out any issues the vehicle had. These were all minor, but I wanted no surprises if I was going to fly in to see the vehicle first-hand. My final caution was when we got to the point of settling on a price and figuring what the total cost was going to be. After dealing with a local dealer the prior week that basically tried to load us up with bogus fees, I was relieved when Joel continued to prove that Toyota of Greensburg was a straightforward and honest operation. No surprises, extras, or gotchas! It really is refreshing to work with a salesman and dealership that actually care about their reputation, how they treat customers, and don't simply view potential customers as the source for a quick buck. The honesty, integrity, and professionalism that Joel conducts business with is a model for everyone in the car business. Whether you are looking for a new or used vehicle, you will not go wrong working with Joel Dittman at Toyota of Greensburg. Even if you're far away, you'll undoubtedly save yourself a lot of time, money, and stress by coming here first! More

Another great experience! As usual, when I went in to get yet ANOTHER new Tundra, it was an experience that you rarely hear about with a dealership. Glen Owen and Phil Giunto As usual, when I went in to get yet ANOTHER new Tundra, it was an experience that you rarely hear about with a dealership. Glen Owen and Phil Giunto went well above and beyond to be sure that my experience was great. I frequently send friends and family there, and every time I do, I can trust that my referrals are treated fairly, honestly and like they are part of the T of G family. Whenever I go in for service, it is always a great experience as well. Toyota of Greensburg truly has their business "firing on all cylinders"! More

He also explained how to use all the features so I was familiar with the car during the test drive and again before driving it home. While working with the financial department, I can say similar things about how smoothly the process went. I was pleased in my first car buying experience. More

Upset with Service Took my '09 Tacoma in to have the frame replaced per the factory warranty, and also a few other things done. After waiting since March for the frame to arrive, it finally came in. That's when AJ Pacienza in Service called with a LAUNDRY list of other things they "found" that needed done, that not surprisingly, were NOT covered by the warranty. After an actual yelling match on the phone, I will be picking the truck up (supposedly soon) with just the frame done. AJ is ok with oil changes and brakes, but do not trust him with major work- he will definitely misquote and mislead you! I personally know 2 others that had their frames replaced there...and SAME story- the Service Dept. had a long list of other work that needed (OR that they strongly recommend) to be done. I've bought 4 vehicles there over the years, as well as a lot of service done, and have not had a worse experience than I did dealing with AJ.... More
