Days before contacting Eric Kalik at Toyota of Gladstone, I attempted to do business with a different dealship in Portland where I was literally lied to and left out to dry as if my business meant nothing to them. Eric and the team at Gladstone had me in the car I wanted and out the door in a matter of no time compared to 4 days of being jerked around and lied to by the other dealership which resulted in no car and me asking for my money back. My experience was pleasant and honestly a little fun, but, buying a new car should be fun it should be celebrated, right? You’re buying a new car, it’s exhilarating!! I’m extremely happy with my decision to go to Gladstone and I’m couldn’t be happier with my purchase. More

Quick and Easy. No BS. I was looking for a very specific Toyota Tundra and was not able to reach an agreement on the price with my local dealerships. I decided to expand my I was looking for a very specific Toyota Tundra and was not able to reach an agreement on the price with my local dealerships. I decided to expand my search and found one at Toyota of Gladstone that fit the requirements. I contacted them via Cars.com and Eric replied back on the same day. He was extremely professional and asked what he could do to help me out. I told him that I was from the Seattle area and would close a deal over the phone if they could get to my price point. I gave them my offer, they responded with counter, and I gave them my final price. My price was accepted and the deal was closed. No BS no up selling. They had my truck prepped and ready the night before I headed down. I didn't mind driving the 170 miles since I finally got the deal I was looking for (even though I did compromise a little to close the deal). I spent only 45 minutes at the dealer completing all the paperwork and handed over a cashier's check for the exact amount of our deal. Eric and his team at the dealership were very polite and professional. I'm glad I was able to do business with them. I think everyone won on that deal. The dealership made a nice gross margin to pay the employees and keep the lights on and I get the truck and the deal I was looking for. I always like a good deal but I understand that a business is there to make money. If a dealership can acquire an asset at a good price and keep their cost low to offer very competitive pricing; good for them. It's not my concern how much money they're making (or not making) so long as I get the thing at the price that I value it at. More
