This was a great experience. I purchased a new vehicle using the Costco program. Seth was very easy to work with, no pressure, very helpful and explained everything in detail. Seath was outstanding in all aspects of this sale. He worked with me via email from Afghanistan to get me just the right truck for the best price. Once I arrived from deployment Seth did everything to m worked with me via email from Afghanistan to get me just the right truck for the best price. I went in to have the battery changed in my Prius key and asked the Parts guys how much a new Prius was. They didn't know, but within half a minute a fellow from Scion sales, Phil Rabibi, walked up to tell t asked the Parts guys how much a new Prius was. They didn't know, but within half a minute a fellow from Scion sales, Phil Rabibi, walked up to tell them something related to another customer. The parts guys indicated that Phil could answer my question, so I asked. He was WONDERFUL. Answered my questions without any sales B.S. and gave me his card. His approach, respect toward me and providing the information I wanted, impressed me so much that I returned 5 hours later (on my way home) and asked to see one of the new Prius'. (His approach and genuineness had already predisposed me to purchase that day with HIM.) He brought in the very honest and nice man from Tunisia who bargained fairly for the value of my trade in and we agreed on a price. This gentleman did not realize I still owed $1800 on my trade in, and although I am a business person, I did not realize that that amount comes off the agreed upon trade in value. I found this out when I sat with Sean from finance. I didn't feel good about the trade in value, but the rest of the transaction went very well. I was never pressured to purchase anything at all. I was OFFERED various insurance and other products, but when I said no... the subject was never brought up again. NO HARD SELL AT ALL. I asked for and got a very good interest rate commensurate with my credit score and creidt history. I had a headache through out the afternoon (not their fault at all, I came in with it) and Sean explained somethings to me several times and in different ways until I had a clear understanding. I signed the docs and went home in my new car. Over the weekend the misunderstanding about the value of my trade in was still bothering me, so I called Sean and he set up a meeting with Rich, one of the managers, for Monday. I called him, explained my discomfort and he made up the difference on what I thought my car was worth as a trade in. NO BODY DOES THIS! I fully expected at some point in the conversation to be told: you signed the deal lady, live with it. This never happened; actually quite the opposite. He understood my discomfort, made sure no deception was involved by anyone on his staff, and forwarded a check to the lender for the disputed amount. He then sent me a fax copy of this payment. EVERYONE SHOULD SHOP FOR CARS HERE! I THOUGHT IT WAS A SALES TACTIC WHEN THEY SAID MY SATISFACTION WAS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THIS DEAL. IT WASN'T A SALES TACTIC, IT WAS THE TRUTH. THEY PUT THEIR MONEY BEHIND THEIR WORDS AND I AM AMAZED AND TOTALLY IMPRESSED. More
Best car buying experience ever. Everything was taken care of over the internet. I emailed dealers in three states looking for the exact car at the exact price I wanted. Toyota of Gladstone was among fiv care of over the internet. I emailed dealers in three states looking for the exact car at the exact price I wanted. Toyota of Gladstone was among five dealers that responded with what I wanted. In the end what sold me on Toyota of Gladstone was they did everything they could to sell me the car that I wanted not the car they wanted to sell me. The other dealers were always trying to sell me a different model and/or to buy extras I did not want. I drove 5 1/2 hours to purchase a 2009 Toyota Corolla sight unseen from Toyota of Gladstone. I did not even take the car for a test drive. Their internet salesman Seth Dustin asked me what I needed and he had it waiting for me exactly as ordered. I purchased this vehicle for my son who is going to college. He was out of town so they got the paperwork to him to sign, Their customer service and financing department are awesome. I was treated as if I was their only customer whenever I had contact with them. Even after the sale was complete they make sure you are happy. My family and I will purchase all of our future vehicles from Toyota of Gladstone. More
Had a wonderful experience at Gladstone Toyota. I went with my wife and son on a Sunday afternoon to look for a Toyota Venza, Phil Habibi (the salesman) greeted us with a big smile; and this was on a 4th with my wife and son on a Sunday afternoon to look for a Toyota Venza, Phil Habibi (the salesman) greeted us with a big smile; and this was on a 4th July weekend when most people would like to take time off. Phil was very friendly, asked me what i am looking for, and showed me exactly the cars i wanted to test drive. However the color and accessories i wanted was not in any of the cars in the lot. So he went to Allen Mezghiche and he came back with what i wanted, with a glitch it has to be shipped/ drove in to the dealership, since it was not in the lot. I had to discuss the price and options with the floor manager (Naveed) (which was not exactly smooth), but Allen Mezghiche was very resourceful, flexible, open and we arranged on a good deal. I liked his professional handling of the situation and meeting customer expectation. Within 24 hrs Phil gave me a call (he actually been in touch with me) and told me when the car would be coming in and ready to drive out. The paperwork process was smooth too. I went in next day and Phil was ready with the car. My wife loved the experience with the sales dept, Phil even helped taking the baby stroller in and out all the time, no pressure of selling this or that, just tell them what you want and they will try their best. One general advice for customers, go in knowing exactly what you want, price, options, financing, warranties etc. Overall i am very satisfied with the process, very family friendly, would highly recommend going to Gladstone Toyota and ask for Phil Habibi. i have not dealt with the sales dept. of this dealership, but the service department is the best! even the person on the phone who made the appointment was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. the sho but the service department is the best! even the person on the phone who made the appointment was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. the shop is clean and welcoming. i came to gladstone because another dealership (broadway toyota) was trying to swindle me- they said that my engine was shot and i needed to trade in my car for "one on their lot". i obviously wanted a second opinion, and the gladstone toyota service department came through with flying colors. i was given in writing a full and thorough explanation of everything that would be done to my 2000 celica for its 60,000-mile tune-up before anything was done. Skye made me feel appreciated and took his time to let me decide what my options were. they gave me a loaner car for FREE while the service was done, which Tiffany took care of in the most cheerful and personable way, making sure i would be driving a vehicle which would suit me. she was terrific. Skye called me during the course of the service to let me know how things were going, and when he diagnosed the loose timing chain (which broadway toyota said would cost $6000-$9000 to fix, unless i traded it in), he quoted a repair of $746, in writing, and with an honest assessment of how soon it needed to be taken care of. the car was ready to be picked up at the promised time and was spotless inside and out. all in all, it was an excellent experience. it is a long way for me to get there (45 minutes one way), and they are probably not the cheapest in town, but the overall professionalism and regard shown by everyone i had contact with was well worth the drive and every penny. they offered a complete and itemized list of all that was done, and a year's warranty on all parts and labor. i didn't tell them anything about my experience with broadway toyota, so they had nothing to prove to me other than their own professionalism and honesty. what a great shop. Charged more than the quote because my Toyota Tacoma takes a little extra oil. A Toyota dealership should know how much oil a Tacoma takes. I have no expeirence with the purchasing side of this dealership.
