He trys his best to give us our best possible price for a car. At first we ask to take few dollars off on a car we want. He said not possible in this economy. We ask why and stuff. We really need a cut off on the car's price. So he decide to go in and talk to the manager. The mangager and him talked for a while. Finally they decide to take the cut off on price. My family and I were very happy of the customer service, and the car's price. Mr. Duy Dang is a friendly, nice, helpful man. More
From the outset, Seth pursued my business in an efficient and proficient manner. He was appropriately aggressive, but not over bearing. He was willing to work hard and be patient. He and Scott put enough time in to make me feel that the dealership was interested in our business. Even though we could not come to agreement initially, Seth continued to present himself and finally, made an offer that we accepted. I believe the offer met our interests, but was also reasonable enough for the dealership. The service delivered at the time I picked up the new ride was fantastic. Again, it was efficient, only told me what I wanted/needed to know and understood my circumstances. I would definitely look to Toyota of Gladstone again, and particularly Seth, for my next Toyota buying experience. More
Seth went above and beyond in helping us select our new car. He also worked hard to get the most for our trade. I do not think you can ever be totally satisfied with what you get for your trade, but Seth car. He also worked hard to get the most for our trade. I do not think you can ever be totally satisfied with what you get for your trade, but Seth definitely made it more than tolerable. His friendly nature is more than genuine and his customer service is above reproach. All of the employees of Gladstone were courteous and friendly. It was well worth the drive to Gladstone! I will take this forum to personally thank Seth for making our car buying experience pleasant. I will recommend Gladstone to all of my friends, and I hope to return soon for a new truck! More

The experience my wife and I had shopping for our new truck at Gladstone could not have been better, after a disappointing visit to Broadway Toyota we found the team at Gladstone very easy to work with. truck at Gladstone could not have been better, after a disappointing visit to Broadway Toyota we found the team at Gladstone very easy to work with. Gladstone Toyota has a very friendly staff - straight forward with no haggling - no pushing, no attempts to sell us something we didn't want - just a fair presentation of the options that were available forward with no haggling - no pushing, no attempts to sell us something we didn't want - just a fair presentation of the options that were available from the dealer. Honest and efficient. The finance manager (I can't remember his name) was very congenial and helpful. A close facsimile of the car we wanted was in stock at a reasonable price and we received a good interest rate on financing through Toyota instead of paying cash or going to our own bank for a loan. The car was prepped and ready to go fairly quickly after we decided to purchase it, so we were able to drive off the lot in record time. Even though we had bought another Toyota from one of Gladstone Toyota's competitors just a month before, there was no trash talking the competition or any attempts to make their dealership look any better. The bottom line is that we feel we were treated fairly and honestly and we are satisfied with the purchase experience and the car we bought. More
Our first visit, Nidal was very pushy. We have negotiated for 3 hours. In the middle of negotiating, I had brought up, why another Toyota dealership, Toyota Wilsonville is selling the same exact negotiated for 3 hours. In the middle of negotiating, I had brought up, why another Toyota dealership, Toyota Wilsonville is selling the same exact car for $4000 cheaper. Because they are rivals, he said very unprofessionally that something is wrong with their cars. He guarantees 5000% that there is something wrong with their cars. I have worked with Toyota Wilsonville and they were real easy to work with and tried to help me out and give me the best prices. In the end, I wanted to go with someone who gave me the best price. I called Sean Overton and told him I was going to get the car elsewhere. To make a long story short, I told him this is the price I want for the car, accessories and warranty. He told me he was going to talk to some people and then get back to me if they could meet the price. He called back shortly and said yes they can meet the price and we made an appt. He said if it went $1 over, he would pay for it. That was the deal. The day we were to pick the car up and pay for it, somehow the price ended up being over $2279 more. Sean Overton said that he had briefed Sean Kim about the warranty the day I spoke with him verbally agreeing on the price. Sean Overton did not pay the $2279 as he said he would pay. A week after our purchase, Sean Overton sent us a Courtesy Email seeing how we were doing. I wrote back to him how unhappy I was and that I felt I was lied to to get me into the dealership. He didn't receive the email until 3 weeks later when I called him and he was reading it on the phone while I was on the phone with him. He said he would forward the email to Rich, manager. A week or so has gone by and I haven't heard from Rich. I then emailed him myself just to clarify things. It's been at least 2 weeks and have not heard back from him either. Lesson: If they verbally tell you over the phone the price quote agreed upon, have someone from your side of the party to witness the quote and have another person on the car dealer side to also witness the price quote given over the phone. We showed up at this dealership on a referral from Costco. Seth greeted us and handed us off to John. John introduced us to Joe who was to work with us on our possible purchase. Joe immediately too Costco. Seth greeted us and handed us off to John. John introduced us to Joe who was to work with us on our possible purchase. Joe immediately took us to the vehicle we were interested in. He was respectul, cordial and answered all of our questions. After the drive, we realized this was the car we wanted (Toyota Highlander Hybrid). We sat down with John and Joe, and worked out a deal in less than 10 minutes. My wife had to get to a hair appointment and they let us take the vehicle, and return to take care of the paperwork. Joe took care of everything for us. Even took my wife to get a late lunch while I went to pick up the kids from their Grandparents house. The car was prepped, and driven into the show room. Joe helped me with the final inspection of the vehicle, and sent us on our way with a beautiful new car. I can't tell you how satisfied I was with this car purchasing experience. No pain - no disrespect - no difficulties - the opposite of what I have experienced with most every other car purchase I have made. I asked Joe for some of his business cards so that I could pass them on to any friends or colleagues who might be looking for a Toyota, confident that my referral would be a positive experience for anyone I send to Joe. Thanks Joe, John and Seth. More
Toyota of Gladstone's "incredible three" have truly made me a customer for life. It's easy to feel good about a new car buying experience when your budget is roomy and your options are endless. However, me a customer for life. It's easy to feel good about a new car buying experience when your budget is roomy and your options are endless. However, it is the mark of an exceptional dealership, and extraordinarily professional and caring professionals, that I was able to feel better about buying a "new to me" auto on my tiny budget than any new car experience I've ever had! Sales executive Sean Overton, manager Scott Caverhill and service manager Jake Steele are committed to giving their customers the best experience possible. Thanks to them, I have a car I am thrilled with, at a price I can afford, and have seen first hand that they stand behind the automobiles they sell. Because of this, I am a customer for life, and would be happy to refer anybody I know to their dealership with complete confidence. Sean worked hard to find the best possible car for me on my (very miniscule) budget. Even though this star performer had multiple customers (of course, who wouldn't want to work this ethical and positive person) he went out of his way to work with me. He came in on his day off, followed up by phone and gave me the VIP treatment that he no doubt gives to each and every one of his customers. Manager Scott Caverhill clearly sets the pace for his entire team, as he was cheerful, patient (uhhmmmm...I was a bit of a nervous shopper)and extremely knowledgeable. Clear to see why Toyota of Gladstone enjoys such stellar ratings with a manager like Scott setting the pace. He is extremely positive and made the car buying experience stress-free and enjoyable. Finally, the true test of a dealership is what happens if something goes 'wrong.' While not serious, my "new to me" car needed a repair. The service here was just as outstanding as the sales process. Jake Steele, the professional in charge of the service team caring for my car, got my auto in quickly, arranged for alternate transportation for me, kept me updated on status and was knowledgeable, reassuring and thorough (by the way, he truly loves and knows cars - ask him about his own classic that he drives!) Having researched numerous other dealerships, I will tell you that finding, and working with, the "incredible three" of Toyota of Gladstone has been fantastic, and I would recommend them to anybody who wants terrific, positive and caring people helping them find that "just right" new (or new to them) car. Just think of them as the super heroes of the car world...without the goofy costumes ;-) More
I worked with two financial guys as well and was very happy with both of them but sadly, I can't remember their names. Thank you for working so hard for us in the Cash for Clunkers program.
