Received a phone call about other work that needed to be done, so I could decide what I wanted to do. Picked my car up the next morning. Everything finished like it should be, and pricing was what I was told it would be. Worked with Jenny in service. LOVE HER!! She is so sweet, and takes time to explain and go over everything. Don't really love taking my car in, but she makes it sort of fun. More
1 year free Maintenance on used car I purchased a used vehicle from Gladstone Toyota and one of the selling points brought up to me over and over again was that it comes with a years fre I purchased a used vehicle from Gladstone Toyota and one of the selling points brought up to me over and over again was that it comes with a years free maintenance. So I made my first appt. and when I did I asked the guy on the phone what it covered and was told basically an oil change, all fluids filled and my tires rotated. I made the appt for 2:00 PM, I was 15 to 20 minutes early and the first in the service line. Meanwhile several other cars pulled in behind me. I found out that the only thing my free so called "Maintenance" for a year covers is the oil change and an inspection. After waiting for nearly 2 hours and watching all those who had come in after me leave with their cars I saw them pull my car into the shop. When they were done they marked on my receipt that I had corroded battery cables and a weak battery. Neither is true! I know this for a fact. They also told me when I called them after returning home that they had not removed the battery cables. That was not true. You see my car is a Lincoln LS and when removing the cables and putting them back on there is a certain procedure that needs to be followed. If you don't follow it your car will not run right or shift right.I found that out when I got a CD stuck and rebooted the player by taking off the battery cables and putting them back on. (NO corrosion either) That was the reason for my calling them after I got home. Removing the cables also removes all setting you have made for seat, pedal, and steering wheel that need to be reset. That part is no big deal but driving it without following the set procedure is. I am taking it to the Ford dealer tomorrow and I hope there has been no permanent damage done to the transmission. To sum up. If you have anything but a Toyota do not take it to Gladstone Toyota. I don't know if they know any more about a toyota or not. If you are buying a used car there just know that the so called FREE maintenance is nothing more than an oil change and if your time is worth anything to you your better off going to Jiffy Lube or Oil Can Henrys. The free so called maintenance is not what they want you to think it is. Would an insurance claim hold up if the only maintenance you did was change the oil? I think not. More

A pleasant and efficient car-buying experience My wife and I are grateful to everyone we met at Toyota of Gladstone for making our 2012 RAV4 purchase a pleasant car-buying experience. • The i My wife and I are grateful to everyone we met at Toyota of Gladstone for making our 2012 RAV4 purchase a pleasant car-buying experience. • The internet sales manager, Seth, responded to our initial inquiries quickly. • Seth was willing to negotiate the price in a low-key, straight-forward, and matter of fact way. Unlike another Toyota dealership that we interacted with last weekend, Seth didn’t stonewall, get hostile, or try to feed us a big line of arrogant baloney about profits on the sale, blue book prices, intention to send the vehicle to another dealership or auction it if we didn’t buy the car right away, etc. • Based on preceding price research (prices on the internet, blue-book estimates, and negotiations with other dealerships), we feel that we ended up with a fair deal. • Seth and his team member, Patrick, greeted us courteously when we arrived. • Patrick was especially helpful, pleasant, prompt, personable, professional, knowledgeable, and resourceful while we inspected and test drove the vehicle. Patrick got the administrative details of the sale started and then wrapped up very efficiently. • While the sales and business managers took some time to offer various scratch protection and extended warranty packages, they were polite, personable, accepted our responses, weren’t pushy, and got everything done quickly but thoroughly. In summary, everyone else at Toyota of Gladstone provided a wonderful contrast to some of the other car shopping experiences we’ve had. We will remember Toyota of Gladstone whenever we, or any of our friends, are in need of an automobile. More

Aaron arranged for my wife to test drive a new Rav4 and on a later visit I did the same. Like the other postings noted we found him to be honest and not pushy while showing us a good price with no hidden dealer markups unlike our experience elsewhere. After much weighing of pros and cons of other small SUV's we decided to buy a different vehicle from another dealer. If we had decided on the Rav4 I'm sure we would have enjoyed our buying experience that Aaron would have provided. More

Best car buying experience. This is my second time in my life that I had to deal with a car dealership and car salesman. By far, this was the best experience that I've had. We ended up buying it because of Aaron. He was very knowledgeable about the van we were looking at. He was very caring and took that time to help us answer all of our questions. He even helped us program the blue tooth in the van to our phone after we bought the van. Everybody there was respectful and treated us very nice when we first entered the dealership to leaving the dealership. We couldn't have asked for anything more. More
