I was a woman going alone for the first time to made a big purchase. I planned to pay cash, I had done my homework. I made my intentions clear and my expectations to not be pushed or I would leave. I did not give into additional options and was not arm twisted to do so. The process of a new car purchase is not fun. I left exhausted but happy and felt like I might have made a couple of new friends. I love my new car. More
Overall this car buying experience for me was great. Kevin was not pushy at all. My schedule is very busy and he was understanding of that. After test driving the vehicle once, I still wasn't sure so they let me take it out to run errands. I drove around for an hour and was sold. Kevin is very knowledgeable (above average). He answered every question and if he didn't know the answer, he found out in less than 5 minutes. We narrowed down the exact car I wanted and he was able to get it from another dealership in a few hours. A true professional and a pleasure to meet. I wish that every large purchase could be this simple and straight forward. It helps if you go in there knowing what you want and have resonable expectations. Thanks, Kevin! Also, Connie the finance person at Gladstone was awesome. She got me a very good rate (better than expected and better than my bank by 1.25 percent!) and she was fun and friendly. More
WENT ON LINE THRU COSTCO- SETH CALLED WITHIN 30 MINUTES - TOLD HIM I WAS READY TO BUY AND ALSO SAID EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR (2011 TOYOTA SEQUOIA SR5 BLACK WITH LEATHER INTERIOR)AND HE SAID IT WOULD TA TOLD HIM I WAS READY TO BUY AND ALSO SAID EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR (2011 TOYOTA SEQUOIA SR5 BLACK WITH LEATHER INTERIOR)AND HE SAID IT WOULD TAKE A DAY OR TWO TO GET IT FROM ANOTHER DEALER - I CALLED HIM BACK AND SAID WE WOULD TAKE IT AND IT WAS AT DEALERSHIP ON THIS PAST MONDAY - WE COMPLETED THE PAPER WORK (WITH PAT) AND THE VEHICLE IS IN OUR GARAGE AS WE SPEAK.BEST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD WITH A CAR DEALERSHIP. From the entrance into the dealership, we were met with an engaging salesman. It was almost closing time and we were just looking around with the expectation that we would find a vehicle over the next few an engaging salesman. Benjamin was extremely knowledgable about the product and all the financing options. He stayed with us until after 10:30pm when we drove away with our new Scion. We never felt pressured. I had a great experience at this dealership, after having a horrific one at Thomas Auto Sales in Hillsboro two days prior. I found the Truck I wanted from the web and worked ou the numbers with Pat, an aweso a horrific one at Thomas Auto Sales in Hillsboro two days prior. I found the Truck I wanted from the web and worked ou the numbers with Pat, an awesome Sales rep, who put the deal together that I needed to make the drive from Eugene to Portland (2hrs). Upon arrival, they inspected my trade, gave me a fair price on the truck and we put together the deal. This was the absolute opposite of my experience two days prior where we worked it out over the phone, I got onsite and they tried to lowball me on my trade by $5,000. But this isn't a negative review about Thomas Auto Sales, it's a positive one about Gladstone Toyota. Josh the Sales Manager was very friendly and helped Pat work out the details of the deal. He didn't hide behind a door/office, he was in plain sight and gladly spoke to me when I engaged. This was an excellent buying experience and that's hard to find this day in an auto dealership, so Kudos to Gladstone Toyota. I'm also in Sales so I'm pretty hard to please and these guys went above and beyond what was necessary to complete the sale. Go see them, ask for Pat in Sales, he's fantastic. More
