bad dealership i bought a new car .. before and during the sale they are awesome.. but good luck after.. the service department are rude and argumentative. i made i bought a new car .. before and during the sale they are awesome.. but good luck after.. the service department are rude and argumentative. i made an appointment for 730am oil change, when they open. arrived at 715am and was checked in and told to sit in the waiting area. after 1 hour i checked on my car and they had not even started on it yet. i asked whats wrong, they stated my appointment is to have service when they can get me worked in not at my appointment time.. and told me it would be another hour or so till they got me in because it was busy. and the appointment is not an actual time of service.. they schedule as many people as possible and make you wait untill they are ready to service you vehicle.. on a separate visit for a defective battery. the now service manage told me batteries don't go bad on new cars and it must be my fault. after several hours trying to find a reason to blame me, and could not. he replaced it under warranty, reluctantly . stating that he did not want to replace it and still feels it was my fault it went bad. how can you make a battery go bad one a 1 year old car ?? last time i called to make an appointment to get my oil changed. the manager answered the phone, and i asked for a way to come in and get it changed without waiting 3 hours. was told can not make any promises about how long it would take on any appointment time. and said ohh you yea ill make sure you wait forever. i told him that was crap and wanted to talk to his manager. he hung up on me.. when i called back to talk to his manager, i was transfered to him again. and i told him thats a jerk move hanging up on me and that i wanted to talk to his manager. he then used swear words towards me, i said that was BS and real big talk behind a phone. then he said I KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE AND WHO YOU ARE AND WILL SETTLE THIS I DONT LIKE YOU COME ON DOWN I WILL BE READY AND WAITING FOR YOU.. i hung up the phone called the police and filed a complaint the ncalled the dealership and talked to the general manager chris .. he told me he would talk to the service manager and that the service department is great and they have big margins in profit, the manager made big money for the dealership. and that he can not guarantee my service would be performed correctly by there service department and that i should go to another dealership. i said thats not fair who do i call about this, he said the 1800 number and hung up on me. i was warned not to buy from them, they have this reputation. but i thought they were ok and they are to get the sale.. also i know most of these reviews are fake and put on by the dealership.. Good experience We purchased a used RAV4 from Toyota of Gastonia. Ash was really great-honest, energetic, and even after a long day he remained cheerful. Moving on Up I believe we made a great on a pre-owned Toyota Camry with low, low mileage. When I mentioned them, Ash (our salesperson and great helper) told me that a new one had already been ordered and would be is installed when it arrived - all I needed to do would be to bring the car by. How great! More

Awesome Experience!! This place is great! After much research and online reviews I was led to this particular dealership. Ashraf Ashour was the dealer that helped me. He w This place is great! After much research and online reviews I was led to this particular dealership. Ashraf Ashour was the dealer that helped me. He was friendly, funny and a great joy to work with. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. Ashraf told me not to worry and that he would do his best to help me. I was able to purchase my first vehicle on my birthday and it was awesome! I know I would never be able to find this type of car (practically brand new) for the price I received anywhere else. A big thank you to all at Toyota of Gastonia and especially Ashraf Ashour who went above and beyond his job to help me! I pray God continues to bless you all! P.S. I went to a few dealerships before coming here and this was the best experience from the time I stepped on the lot until I drove off. I was immediately greeted, asked which vehicle I wanted, walked straight to the vehicle (the one I actually purchased) and allowed to test drive it before we even went inside to the computer. I did not get this type of service anywhere else I went. More
AVOID IT! RUN AWAY!FAAAAST. The buying experience was not great but it worked, now, the service, that is another story. I stopped by for my first oil change and when I got home I realized that somehow they had overfilled the motor with oil, I called the dealer to notify them and they told me ''Stop by and we'll drain some of it''. I live 30 miles away from the dealer so I would be driving 60 miles, wasting my gas and most importantly my time for them to correct their own mistake. I drained the oil myself and ended up with a full quart of extra oil, when I told them that, all they could say was '' I don't understand how that can happen, we use the oil guns'' as if a machine could never be calibrated wrongly, on top of that the technician performing the service didn't even bother to check the oil level after filling it. Throughout the whole time I was getting a bad attitude from the service department as if that was my fault. I avoided this place for a while but returned for another oil change, this time they didn't tighten the drain plug, which I realized the next day. I called them to see what could be done and again the great and caring ''service department'' told me ''bring it in, we'll check it out'' without asking how much oil I had lost, once I brought that up to his attention he told me he assumed I had checked. Long story short, I tightened the plug and had to add 3 quarts of oil at almost $8 each, plus now I have two huge oil stains in my garage and driveway for which they offered me some cat litter stuff to soak it up. The undercarriage of my truck was now soaked with oil so I went to the dealer to cleaned it. By now I was dealing with the sales manager, I told him do not wash the truck just remove the oil from the undercarriage. About 45 minutes later the truck comes back and they washed the whole truck, the next day I noticed 3 scratches that were not there before. I checked out their detail department and sure enough they wash the cars with long handle brushes which could explain the scratches. I brought this up to the sales manager's attention he didn’t say much and told me to go to the body shop behind the dealer to get a quote to repair the damage. A couple of days later I stopped by to drop off my truck to fix the scratches and the body shop was telling me it was going to take 4 days to complete the repairs but the sales manager would only offer me a rental for one day, after much back and forth he finally told me that he wasn't going to paint the truck at the body shop but have a guy fix the scratches and that is why it would only take a day, so he lied to me and made waste my time going and getting an estimate. If you know anything about paint you know that scratch repairs can be seen from a mile away, on top of everything, he said he thought I was lying about the scratches and would never be satisfied, treating me as a ''problem customer''. I am tired of having to waste my time and money to correct their mistakes and now I'm a problem customer. If I was trying to get something out of anyone I would have gone to a dealer where I know they care about their customers and not this xxxx hole where I was already certain they did not. I attempted to contact the general manager, I left him a message but obviously have gotten no response. So learn from me, they don't make mistakes, you do, your mistake was buying from them and taking your vehicle there for service. More
