I will never give my money or business to this dealership again! After my vehicle was totaled by a tree during Hurricane Helene, I found myself car shopping and bought an Acura that must have been a trade-in again! After my vehicle was totaled by a tree during Hurricane Helene, I found myself car shopping and bought an Acura that must have been a trade-in from Toyota. The test drive was okay and no problems noticed. However, any questions asked about the vehicle Blake did not know and had to check for me, explaining that they had just gotten the vehicle in a few days prior. Blake was extremely helpful through the whole process UNTIL I had to bring my truck back because of a grinding noise that it was making after driven for longer than 45 minutes. I spent days at a time back and forth to and from the dealership dropping my vehicle off with the service department to figure out the issue! They could find nothing and they said they changed the brake pads and resurfaced rotors. I noticed that the radio and temperature control screen also had this flashing and flickering going on, which was very subtle to the eye while driving but very noticeable to the eye if you are just sitting in the truck for a period of time figuring out how to work everything. I decided to take it to the Acura dealership for a diagnostic. Immediately Acura recognized that my brakes were aftermarket. Additionally, they said the transmission fluid was very dark and needed to be serviced, along with the radio hardware going out and needing replacement. Keep in mind, my truck was no more than 14 days new to me! I visited Blake and brought the aftermarket brakes to his attention first and advised him that after market parts were the cause of the grinding feeling and noise of the brakes. He told me that “we’re a Toyota dealership, so we wouldn’t put Acura parts on your vehicle”. AMAZINGLY SURPRISED that this would actually come out of his mouth, I left shortly after he “tried” to speak with the Service Manager (after speaking with his own manager) with the offer that I could TRY to come back and speak to the GM, as he would be the only person that had the power to decide what to do next with my vehicle. Valuable and costly lessons learned here…now $650 later and a future repair bill for the hardware on the radio panel of $2300, Toyota is not what I thought their business integrity would be at all! After having extensive repairs and issues with our home caused by Hurricane Helene, extra repair expenses after the purchase of a newly-used vehicle was the least expected! I understand the “as-is” terms of sale for used vehicles, however, I’ve NEVER experienced such a poor experience in all my years of used vehicle purchases. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. More
Good service . My service guy was very friendly and helpful but I didn’t like that I couldn’t get an exact price of what my vehicle would cost before I left. I wasn't impressed with the customer service here. I just bought a used car from here and when we were testing driving it they could not answer any of my questions about the car. I asked how long it h I just bought a used car from here and when we were testing driving it they could not answer any of my questions about the car. I asked how long it had been on the lot and the sales rep didn't know the answer. We called the next day saying we would be buying the car and the sales rep told us they would have it washed and detailed for us. It was not washed or detailed. There was lip gloss left from the previous owner in the passenger door. I was very upset by this. I was expecting a nice clean car. The paperwork process was very quick which I was impressed about. Overall a decent experience. More
I picked up my FJ Cruiser yesterday from Toyota of Gastonia's Collision Center. After paying for the work, I realized that the wrong work was performed. I had requested that the front driverside windo Gastonia's Collision Center. After paying for the work, I realized that the wrong work was performed. I had requested that the front driverside window blackout tape/trim and the rear passengerside windows blackout tape/trim be replaced. However, the collision center replaced the front and rear passengerside windows blackout tape/trim instead. They accepted no responsibility for the error and has attempted to blame for miscommunication what work needed to be done. I have attached screenshots of my initial email to them requesting repairs. It is crystal clear regarding the work that needs to be performed. I also included pictures in my email. Additionally, even without the clear email and photographs of the areas that needed to be repaired, anyone could have just looked at the vehicle and seen which areas needed to be repaired. More
Paul was very helpful and pointed me toward a vehicle that knew nothing about but that fit all my criteria, which were numerous and very specific. Really thought I was gonna have to compromise and just that knew nothing about but that fit all my criteria, which were numerous and very specific. Really thought I was gonna have to compromise and just deal with my issues, but this vehicle is working well...except for the pathetic 12mpg gas mileage, but I went into that with my eyes open. More
