Absolutely terrible experience! I drove down from Milwaukee (1hr and 15min) for a Honda civic that was listed at $18,500. The value on CarFax was just over $21k and so I knew it I drove down from Milwaukee (1hr and 15min) for a Honda civic that was listed at $18,500. The value on CarFax was just over $21k and so I knew it was a good deal and I wouldn’t be able to get them down much. The salesman I worked with was awesome, he was kind, personal and a genuinely nice guy. However…After test driving it they gave me a sheet of the cost. Out the door…$28,100!! Which about $8,000 of that was optional coverages and insurances. When I asked to take those off the manager came over and said the lowest he would take is 25k which is now almost 4k over value. He claimed they were standard fees but please tell me a single dealership charging almost $6,500 in fees. Let alone the $10,000 in fees they originally were charging. He then tried to say there is tons of interest on this car and he has lots of appointments. However, I think once everyone sees that he actually wants 6,500 over the ticketed price, anyone would just walk away. Sad thing I truly loved the car and was willing to pay the ticket price plus the normal $1.8k ish in fees. But instead I wasted 4hrs of my time. Please be careful ever shopping here! More
