The overall experience was good at the dealership. The staff and GM were helpful. The only caveat to this was that it took a long while to close the sale - 3.5 hours or so. I have never had a more pleasant experience at a dealership in my life. The people there are very nice, and also very pleasant to work with. There is no high pressure salesman. Between Bob and John they were very helpful in accomodating my schedule. I started with Bob but when he wasn't in when I could get in for a test drive. John took care of us. They also tracked down accomodating my schedule. I started with Bob but when he wasn't in when I could get in for a test drive. John took care of us. Sales staff was extremely friendly and helpful, without the stereotypical auto hard sell. They seemed to do everything possible to stay within my limited budget--always confident and determined to get me t the stereotypical auto hard sell. This is a good dealership with great sales and service deprtments but their website is totally useless. They don't show their actual inventory, just the "showroom" models from toyota's feed. And, of course, those show no option packages included (like many of the models come with). So, not only, can't you tell what they have on the lot, but you can't even request a price with any option packages included. What's the use of having the website? Might as well just have an address and phone number, because to get any usefull information from them you would have to either call or visit their location. This is 2012 not 1912! Get with the program. Toyota provides two different search options "Show Room", which is all of the models, colors with base trim packages and "Search Inventory", which is where the dealer shows exactly what they have in stock, with whatever options are on them. In the past 12 hours I have been on 20 Toyota dealers websites around the Chicago area and everyone of them shows their actual inventory. More

I bought a 2010 Prius III from Fox Lake Toyota, and the whole experience from start to finish was very positive. When I called to see if the car I saw on the Internet for Kelley Blue Book was still availab whole experience from start to finish was very positive. When I called to see if the car I saw on the Internet for Kelley Blue Book was still available, John Ippolito was very helpful on the phone. He went out to check on the car and even took me step by step over the phone on their Internet site so that I could bring up the most current information on the 2010 Prius III. When I visited the dealership later in the day, John was very throrough and answered all of my questions both during and after the test drive. He showed me all of the information on that specific car (past history, current work done, etc.). I decided to buy the Prius that day and have felt nothing but positive about my decision. The whole family is excited about what a great car it is - exceptionally clean and very well-maintained. I should also say that the manager also went out of his way to make sure that my experience at Fox Lake Toyota was an excellent one. Thank you to John and the manager for taking the time to care. The drive up to Fox Lake is definitely worth it! More
Although I live over 60 miles from Fox Lake Toyota, I will NEVER go anywhere else to purchase a vehicle!
