Horrible Service Experience I am extremely dissatisfied with my service experience at Toyota of Easley. I bought a brand new 2018 Toyota 4Runner back in January. After a certain I am extremely dissatisfied with my service experience at Toyota of Easley. I bought a brand new 2018 Toyota 4Runner back in January. After a certain amount miles I took my car in for it’s first maintenance, and it went fine, they told me my car was ready to go. No issue there. But this past Monday I took my car in for it’s 2nd maintenance, as the car dashboard was saying that maintenance was required, once again due to the miles. So like two days before my scheduled appointment, I started seeing on my dashboard that one of my tires has low tire pressure; so when I went in for my appointment I told them if they could put air in my tire. Once they were done doing the maintenance on my car, they told me that they had bad news, i needed a new tire! I was in complete shock because like I stated, I’ve only had my car for 9 months. I have NEVER heard of someone needed a new tire after only 9 months of having a new tire. The guy then proceeded to telling me that it’s because there’s a plug on my tire, which is letting out air, and they can’t plug it again so therefore I need a new tire. And this hit me as a double shock because when in heck was my tire plugged? If this is only the second time I take my car for maintenance, and i was NEVER told by anyone that a plug was put on one of my tires. None of this made sense to me because that means either they sold me a BRAND NEW care with a USED tire, or my tire was plugged and no one told me. So I’m trying to dispute the fact that they’re expecting me to buy a brand new tire after 9mths because of a plug I didn’t even know I had. They’re saying that they have no records of them plugging up my tire, so therefore I have to buy one!! How the heck is it my fault that someone plugged my tire and didn’t leave no record of it?!? Now they want me to pay out my OWN pocket for their mistake?! This is the first car I have ever purchased, and it has turned into a complete headache!! I have never been treated this way before. I am in complete awe of the lack of responsibility that this dealership is willing to take! More

I expected a better experience I usually get my tires at Sam's, but the dealer where I purchased my daughter's car sent me email about an oil change special and an online tire finde I usually get my tires at Sam's, but the dealer where I purchased my daughter's car sent me email about an oil change special and an online tire finder. So I took a chance and scheduled an appointment on 7/20/2018 for the oil change, tires and alignment. I wish I had not done this. After a 3 hour wait, I had the tires and oil change, but I was informed the alignment machine was broken and I could either wait until it was fixed, or bring the car back another time. I arranged to have my daughter bring the car back the next morning. I got the invoice for the service, and the email special price was not used. The service writer later fixed this. I should note that during my 3 hour wait, I went out on the Toyota of Easley new car lot to look at the hybrid Camry. My wife has expressed and interest in a new hybrid Toyota of some sort. Contrary to my previous experience, I was never approached by a salesperson. I'm also concerned with the alignment. My daughter indicates the car now pulls to the right, but I have no way of confirming this. Since she's back in Chapel Hill, returning the car to Toyota of Easley is problematic. Over the last 20 years, I've purchased only new Toyotas and Hondas, with the Toyota purchases alternating between Toyota of Easley and Ralph Rayes Toyota. After this experience, I feel much more comfortable with the sales and service at Ralph Hayes, and will probably just use them for my future Toyota purchases and service. I am uncomfortable with the Toyota of Easley experience, and their apparent lack of concern for my time or satisfaction. Finally, Toyota of Easley sent me a letter indicating I would receive an email survey, indicating that if I could not give them perfect marks on the survey to contact them before completing it. Doesn't this bias the survey results and make it somewhat useless? More

I was not happy about that. To me a multipoint inspection means checking everything even the battery, l was able to get it jumped off and drive it to the dealership for a new battery. That was the only good part. Patricia Hamilton More

The first time I went in for a problem I was told my extended warranty was not in the system. Come to find out service writer typed in wrong Vin number. After they got that straightened out I informed them of two problems. I was supposed to have a $100 deductible. When I went to pick up my vehicle I was originally told I owed $192. After some discussions I was only charged $100. The second problem has to go to another dealer which Toyota of Easley finally agreed to pick up that tab. Too much hassle! More
Easy, no stress service I dropped my car off at Toyota of Easley service department after three years of barely doing the minimum maintenance at other establishments, or at h I dropped my car off at Toyota of Easley service department after three years of barely doing the minimum maintenance at other establishments, or at home. My tires were dry-rotted, my brakes were just before doing damage to my rotors, neither of my smart keys worked anymore. I had strange noises, and I was expecting them to tell me unexpected services needed at unholy prices. But, no, they put my four brand new top of the line 20 inch Michelin tires on, including an alignment and all the rest that goes with it, fixed my keys, all around new brakes, new headlight restoration, and an oil change and fluid check for a little over $1000, including labor. I got my car back later that day and it drives like it did when I first bought it! It's a 2010 Venza with 116,000 miles. There was no hassle, and the service department personnel were kind and efficient. I checked around for tire prices, and no one could beat them! Best of all, I have peace of mind that everything was done correctly. More
