Mike was great! He was very patient, knowledgeable, and helpful while we deliberated between vehicles. The whole team was friendly and made the purchase pain free. You can only talk to a service manager and not the mechanic who did the inspection. Service manager does not know anything about transmissions. All he said was it two thousand to take it apart. He did know what would happen if I didn't do anything. That's why I wanted to talk to mechanic. More
The "Service Dept" selector will not let me select the appropriate person. I did not work with Ian Mack on this, I worked with Christine. Overall I am not pleased with the service department at this de appropriate person. I did not work with Ian Mack on this, I worked with Christine. Overall I am not pleased with the service department at this dealership at all. At the end of the day, they fix my issue but not without delay and giving me the run around. I recently brought my van in for an 8 a.m. appointment to get my e-break assembly fixed, along with some rotor work done. I made this appoint ~2 weeks prior. I dropped my van off, no issues. the service person estimated my car would be ready around 1:30 p.m. that day, but I was assured, multiple times, my van would be ready that same day. ~2 p.m. rolls around and I get a call that "a lot of stuff has come into the dealership and your car wont be ready until around 4 p.m. that day." Alright fair enough. Not sure why I set an appointment, just for other vehicles to "pop up" out of the blue and supersede my appointment, but nothin I can do about that. Still getting my van back the same day, I am assured of that once again. Fine and dandy. Low and behold, 4 p.m. rolls around and I get another phone call. "The tech is unable to complete the repair today as they are running into issues with the repair." This was on a Saturday, the dealership is closed on Sunday. So now I am without my family vehicle for Saturday, Sunday, and whatever portion of Monday it would have taken the tech to repair my van... IF they could repair it on Monday. I had the option of rental car thrown at me for $45 a day. I inquired about a loaner, since the issue was really on the service departments side of things. I was then guilt tripped about asking for a loaner. "Well, we have loaners but all of our service managers are using them..." I really didn't know what to say to this. Any other dealership/service department I have worked with has loaner vehicles to be courteous to their customers. So I asked again if I could get a loaner. I was guilt tripped again "Maybe I could talk one of my managers out of theirs. Maybe one of their wives could drop what they are doing and come pick them up from work or something." Are you kidding me? At the end of the day. Christine got me a loaner, and my issue was fixed by Monday. But what is all this other nonsense in between? I suspect it is because my repair was under warranty... and from my understanding, it was under a warranty I purchased from this dealership. I was also under the impression I was having the warranty break work done, along with ~$1200 worth of additional break work that was out of warranty. I was to have life time breaks installed. That was not done, so the bill that day was free.. except the couple thousand I paid up front for the warranty. I had a similar issue last year with this vehicle, when two weeks after I bought it, the van wouldn't start. the battery rotted out. So I had it repair. Two days later, same issue. They then kept the van (without providing a loaner) for a week or so. Warranty repair + an additional ~$850 worth of repairs I paid out of pocket. This is supposedly a certified vehicle from your dealership. Just really displeased and frustrated over all. You all have fantastic reviews, that is why i came here for a vehicle in the first place. I just don't understand any of this. Up until Christine on the phone, everyone has been professional and courteous, despite the mechanical problems and delays. More
