We dropped car off several hours early to go to other appointments in town. Justin explained what the recall was for and what would be done. Justin was courteous and informative. Justin called within a couple of hours to say the work was done early and we could pick it up anytime. We could not have asked for better service. All of this on a car we did not buy from this dealership. Fantastic. JA More

I was asked several times if i needed help and i advised them that i was just looking. I went outside to look around and Kolton asked me how my day was. We started to talk about my lease and within an hour i drove out with a new Rav4. I am always pleased by the customer service when i come in. Everybody is always very friendly. More

He impressed us with his honesty and efficiency, He is always eager to find the best and most economical way to solve a problem with our cars. He is very personable easy to communicate with. It's easy to understand why his company has promoted him to manager. I'm just glad he still can help me when I need it. We still go there even though we've never had a Toyota. Curt Albright More
I love my both of my Toyota vehicles BUT service....BAD I own two Toyota vehicles that I purchased from this dealership. Both vehicles have been at the service department for routine maintenance. I have had I own two Toyota vehicles that I purchased from this dealership. Both vehicles have been at the service department for routine maintenance. I have had terrible issues with this service department on both vehicles. 1. Toyota Tacoma. I have scheduled the 35,000 mile, 40,000 mile, and 45,000 mile maintenance on my truck ahead of time. According to the manufacturers recommendations the service department is supposed to inspect the four wheel drive system and change the fluids. After scheduling this service 3 times they have failed to complete the work each time. I make sure to speak with them before hand and say I WANT YOU TO DO THE 4 WHEEL DRIVE MAINTENANCE and they agree. When I get my truck back they have completed an oil change and rotated the tires. That's it.....UNBELIEVABLE. I can't trust the service department to complete the work I have REPEATEDLY ASKED THEM TO COMPLETE. WASTE OF TIME! My truck now has 50+ thousand miles on it and the 4 wheel drive system has never been inspected. Why do I waste my time making these appointments? 2. Toyota Camry. I have had what I believe are too many quirky issues with this vehicle. The passenger seat belt alarm goes off when no one is sitting in the passenger seat. I have taken the car in to this service department 3 times and complained of this issue. They can't reproduce the issue so they never fix anything. I took my Camry to this service department to get the oil changed and they gave me my car back with a huge dent in the side. They did end up fixing the dent free of charge but not after denying any responsibility for the dent. I just had an incident with this car where the engine suddenly starting running rough and died on me. I immediately took it to the dealership and they "found a code". The issue is the weather was cold and there was too much fuel but no repairs are recommended. I purchased this car brand new in 2012 its been driven in much colder weather and NEVER had an issue where the engine died. I'm happy that they aren't charging me for "extra" repairs but I'm not happy that they can never diagnose and fix an issue. I am still driving a car that has a seat belt warning driving me nuts and now an engine that dies in cold weather. I love my Toyota vehicles but this service department has me seriously thinking about not staying loyal to this brand. The warranty on these vehicles is much worse than competitors and I have never had such a terrible string of experiences with a service department. I have absolutely no faith in the capability of this service department. I have held off on making a bad review for this service department for a long time. I kept thinking that I was just having bad luck but visit after visit after visit is a disappointment. Justin Madison is the service rep that handles most of my visits. I have always had good experience with Justin but the work that is being completed at this dealership is BAD. I don't believe Justin is to blame. More

I came from Ottumwa to purchase it and wanted to try the service department but asked about an appointment for next Saturday but was told I would have to drop it off and they would work it in. I said that wouldn't work for me since I wasn't local, didn't try to help me with an appointment just said sorry and hung up. Guess I'll have to see if the local dealer will service my purchase from DesMoines Toyota and buy my next one there. More
Service department advisors are robot zombies These folks used to be very helpful and knowledgable at the old location. Since they became iPad toting up sellers I dread going in for service. I emailed, called and left messages for Travis (service manager) no response to any of my attempts to contact him. I typically request a tech that is meticulous in their work to avoid past issues. I found it very disrespetful for the amount of money ive spent at Toyota of Dm as well as the Gabus group as a whole. More

Wishing we could afford to buy a 2016. but knowing it was probably not going to be possible. While we waited for our car to be serviced, we walked the lot dreaming. Soon Ken Bright, our dealer we purchased our 2012 through recognized us and came to say hi. We have crunched the numbers in the past, and wasn't able to make it affordable. He told us they were offering zero interest. Which was expiring in four days. He asked what we owed on our car. We had about a year left on it. So, once again we went in and crunched the numbers. We could not believe the deal Ken got for us. He gave us the maximum blue book price, plus and additional 500.00 because we had the car undercoated. He gave us credit for the extended warranty we still had left. Then we selected an LE instead of the S we currently drove. Which only raised our payment around 28.00 (not counting the insurance increase) a month to drive a 2016. We luv ken. We never feel pressured or hustled when we deal with him. More

David wasn't high pressure, he took time to hear what I wanted and he talked to me like we were visiting not buying and selling. When the work on my car was complete, Mike offered to wash it for me; which was very unexpected and much appreciated. JD was an expert at training me to navigate the computer system in my new car. Everyone was friendly and attentive. This was not my typical experience at a car dealership and I was impressed. More
5 Toyota owner poor service in Des Moines I called 2 days in advance explaining no air conditioning air flow in Sequioa cabin. They told me it was sensors when I checked in air. 3 hours later I called 2 days in advance explaining no air conditioning air flow in Sequioa cabin. They told me it was sensors when I checked in air. 3 hours later I went to the service counter (they did not come and get me) and they said it was blockage which is what I told them when I scheduled the appointent and when I checked in. They now say it will take 6 hours and overnight. I don't have issue with that but if they had listened to me either time I explained the problem we would be 3 hours ahead. I love Toyotas and have purchased 4 from this dealership starting in 1982. Great place to buy a car. Do not get it serviced here. We live 55 miles avay and do most maintenance locally. The last service we had done at this dealership was on our Sienna. Very similar issues. We live midpoint between Des Moines and Iowa City and plan on future purchases in Iowa City. Service here is very subpar. More
