Liked complimentary inspection. It helped find a cracked drive belt that prevents a more costly situation. Service team is fast enough for busy people to service their vehicles. drive belt that prevents a more costly situation. Service team is fast enough for busy people to service their vehicles. More

My wife & I purchased a 2004 Toyota Highlander Limited new. We have had it serviced at Toyota of Des Moines from the beginning, using the awesome 'pick up' service, so most of my contact with the Limited new. We have had it serviced at Toyota of Des Moines from the beginning, using the awesome 'pick up' service, so most of my contact with the dealership is by phone or email. I call Kris to set up the appointment & all I need to do on the day of the appointment is get the car in the driveway & it disappears & then reappears later that day. If there are any problems/questions my adviser calls to discuss the problem/question. I find the service department/personnel very knowledge, friendly, & always willing to help. Our buying experience with Bob Link was awesome also. No pressure, just 'what can I do for you'. We loved the 2004 Highlander so much we kept that car, went back to Bob Link & bought a 2012 Highlander Limited. Well needless to say I am following the same procedure with the 2012 as I did with the 2004. Toyota of Des Moines has been servicing our Highlanders for 13 years & will continue doing so. Thank you Toyota of Des Moines for a job WELL DONE! More
We came to the dealership to have our Venza serviced and while we were waiting on it looked at the new cars. We had been considering buying a new vehicle for about four months. We received no high pressur while we were waiting on it looked at the new cars. We had been considering buying a new vehicle for about four months. We received no high pressure sales pitch but were allowed to roam and look until we seen a vehicle we were interested in and then we were approached and we requested to talk with Ken Bright. We have purchased several Toyota's through him and have always found him to be very knowledgeable about the product, price, availability, etc. He is extremely friendly & having known our family for several years greets us by name. We were able to purchase the vehicle at a price we could afford and obtained a fair price for the vehicle we traded it for within a minimum of time. I thought we would have to wait to get the new car till another day because we wanted it rust proofed but they were able to have the car serviced and ready in a couple of hours while we ate and ran some errands. The paperwork involved was minimal and the financial official was also very friendly and helpful. He explained all the details about interest, insurance etc. that we needed to be aware of and let us make free and informed decisions regarding the sale. We were given a long detailed explanation with hands on experience of the features of the new car were buying and any and all questions were answered. We were invited to return or call at any time that we had further questions about it. All in all the dealership went above and beyond to make our buying experience as easy and satisfying as possible. The service is quick, friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. I would certainly recommend them to others. More
The truck lost all the oil from the engine due to a oil cooler line rupture suddenly while drive. Towed truck to service shop for repair. They added oil to the engine and told me it was making noise so n cooler line rupture suddenly while drive. Towed truck to service shop for repair. They added oil to the engine and told me it was making noise so needed to one of two things. Repair existing top half of engine for around $6000 - with possible additional damage and repair cost to the lower engine damage, or drop a used engine into the truck for $7000. I at first asked them to put in the used motor but call back and asked them to just fix the line. It took a whole day to have someone complete this repair - the service shop was closed so I was not able to talk with anyone as I picked up the truck - which they recommended I not drive. I have had 2 other mechanics tell me they don't feel the noise is unusual for a motor and both did not recommend any additional repairs. More

Took our car in for service, so we could have it ready for vacation. Were difficult to get a appointment with and when we were on vacation, the tire pressure light went off, as the weather was cooing down for vacation. Were difficult to get a appointment with and when we were on vacation, the tire pressure light went off, as the weather was cooing down, and when I checked all of the tires, they were all about 5# low, which is obvious they did not check the air pressure as they were suppose to on a regular maintenance.
