Oil Change Revealed Serious Alternator Problem I brought my 2005 Toyota Camry in for the oil change with multipoint inspection. I said the car was making a noise so the mechanic listened and got u I brought my 2005 Toyota Camry in for the oil change with multipoint inspection. I said the car was making a noise so the mechanic listened and got under the hood. It turns out the noise was my alternator going out, so I am now warned to have that replaced.
