They started off by saying my husband was approved for a vehicle to get us into the dealership. We arrive and Paula Macedo had the day off so they gave us to Jeff Mccabe to help us out. At this point Jeff Mccabe knew nothing about us and wanted to run our credit report for the 2nd time which I told him no and shock of all shocks he didn't listen. He came back asking us what we wanted to get into for a vehicle. We wanted a used vehicle with a 200- 250 $ payment He told us that was unreasonable that NO ONE has a payment of 200-250$ we couldn't get into a vehicle for under 350$ I stated that is almost double what we wanted to pay and he said no it wasnt it was 350$ He was arrogant and rude. We left at that point knowing this person was obviously not going to try to work with us. I sent Paula Macedo an email telling her of his rudeness and received nothing back from her. I did though receive a arrogant email from Jeff Mccabe telling me to not hate him for being truthful. Once again being an arrogant individual. I then contact via email again Paula Macedo to see if there is any vehicle we can get into she was looking into it. Then I receive another childish email from Jeff Mccabe stating "CONGRATS" ( which I knew wasn't happening because I was dealing with Paula Macedo) only to open the email that was sent directly from Dartmouth Toyota to see it only say "LOL" from the desk of Jeff Mccabe. I was so irrate that I called Paula Macedo who at first didnt believe me till she pulled up the information on their internet system. At that point she said she would deal with it because she was his manager. She called me back 10 mins later saying she could get us into a car for 299$ the lowest I said I would get back to her. In the mean time I am speaking to her through emails I asked her what happened to the other problem how was it dealt with. Paula Macedo played innocent saying she didnt know what I was talking about. When I said Jeff Mccabe she said he doesnt work here anymore. I highly doubt that seeing he is still listed on their website. At that point I called Falmouth Toyota who gave me the information to report them to The Toyota Corporation directly. The full report was filed and I am glad that I went to Falmouth Toyota because they got us into a car instantly at the price we were looking for. STay away from the lies that Dartmouth Toyota sells! They still send me emails stating they can get me into a car at the price I want which they LIE intil they get you into their building trying to get you into a much more expensive payment. More
On July 25,2012,I did a rating for TrueCar for the Toyota Car that I purchase on 7/20/2012. I was very please with Bradford TreFrey as my salesman for selling me the Corollo LE and I was very please with t Car that I purchase on 7/20/2012. I was very please with Bradford TreFrey as my salesman for selling me the Corollo LE and I was very please with the delivery of the car. He follow -up with all details that the customer needed to purchase the vehicle. Only thing, I have not received the Balance of my Refund from my license and registration of $29.23 from the Toyota Of Dartmouth. This is my first experience driving a Toyota vehicle. More
The staff at this dealership were outstanding. Everyone from the mechanics to the sales department. My salesman Chris Burke was kind, patient, professional, was not pushy. First of all, I seldom do any type of rating or reviews, primarily because the service or experience one receives are never really that great, however this dealership & most importantly the salesperson Sean primarily because the service or experience one receives are never really that great, however this dealership & most importantly the salesperson Sean Connolly, who assisted me in the process were both excellent so I had to share my experience. I have been a Honda Accord owner for over 20 years. Been very dedicated to the brand, reputation and dealership, however with over 370,000 miles on my 98 Accord Coupe, it was time to replace. I decided to research Toyota's Camry SE as it gave me all in one package, style, looks, comfort & performance with a complete redesign for 2012. I was a little reluctant about "going over to the dark side" at Toyota, although other family members had already enjoyed theirs for many years. I did my homework, tried several dealerships and salespeople and decided that Toyota of Dartmouth was who I wanted to do busy with. They were just the right size dealership, big enough to provide great amenities & service with a home town feel to their business practice. I met Sherry Barbosa, a sales manager, who was a pleasure to discuss my car search, details and of course the price component with several times. She was very accommodating with responding to every email I sent. Their price was extremely competitive, along with being easy to discuss all its aspects and was fair & reasonable during the negotiation of price. As for the sales person, Sean Connolly, what a gentleman to do business with, professional, very well versed in the details about the Toyota Co. and the vehicle I was interested in. He was also very respectful of the Honda brand and only wanted to earn my business to become a Toyota owner, he was never disparaging about Honda, which I was anticipating may have occurred. On the contrary, he listened attentively to every conversation we had, provided the information and attention I requested, gave me a tour of the dealership's facility, was not a typical pressure salesperson at all. One could see he is very proud to work there, I can see why he has been there over 15 years, which often is not heard of in the car sales business. Well, yes I did purchase the car I was interested in, became a new Toyota owner for the first time all because of the service I received from Sean Connolly. He did make sure I was 100% satisfied with the vehicle he sold me and was always involved whenever I returned to the dealership. I am looking forward now to the vehicle being everything I anticipate for years to come excited about needing service if you can believe that, as the staff I met in the service dept. were exceptional thus far as well. I would certainly recommend Toyota of Dartmouth to all that are interested in a Toyota, but MOST important; you have to ask that Sean Connolly be your salesperson, as he definitely made the difference and the overall new car purchasing experience a great one. We have another Honda in the family and you can rest assured that we will be visiting Sean in the future when it is time to purchase again. He is an asset to this organization, and when it comes to customer service & professionalism he was outstanding. Thank you Sean for making my new car purchases such a pleasant experience. More

We were very pleased with the price of our new Prius v, first of all (referred by Consumer Reports). Since we knew what we wanted in a vehicle and we live about 50 miles from the dealer, Ms. Reis was able first of all (referred by Consumer Reports). When we arrived to inspect the vehicle and complete the sale, Mr. Weingard and other staff we mostly did not meet solved several problems and arranged for us to be on our way in our new car in a single afternoon. We were very happy with the service and care we received at Toyota of Dartmouth. One thing that did come up was when the driver went to the registry to register the vehicle a very large bird left his mark at Toyota of Dartmouth. I realize this was something that could not be helped but it was a little disheartening to come home to a new car which was not cleaned up. This was the only problem. Otherwise we were extremely satisfied with our service. Thank you, Toyota of Dartmouth. We will visit with you again when we are looking for our next Toyota. More
When in the market for a new RAV4 we started at Toyota of Dartmouth as they were closest to our house. It was one of the worst experiences I had ever had! As soon as my husband and I started telling the salespeople (3 talked to us in the same visit) we were looking for a new RAV4 we were told we cannot afford it, they do not have it at the advertised price by Toyota on tv and we should consider a Corolla instead. They hadn't even seen our finances yet! We thought maybe we had a bad day and brought my husband's Corolla there for service a few months later...were told it needed over $2,000 in repairs!!! It's a 2005!!! We told them no and took the Corolla to another dealership where we were told the repair was covered as a manufacturer's recall!!! They talked down to us and made us feel like we were incompetent on BOTH visits. I would highly recommend you use another dealership if you're in the market for a Toyota. More
