Non-existent service after the sale I bought a new Toyota from Toyota of Cool Springs in 2012. I'm very sorry I drove past other Toyota dealerships to do so. At the time of purchase I al I bought a new Toyota from Toyota of Cool Springs in 2012. I'm very sorry I drove past other Toyota dealerships to do so. At the time of purchase I also purchased the extended warranty with the assurance that it would be a good investment, not only in regard to covering the car, but also in ensuring customer service above and beyond what other dealerships would offer. I have found that, after the sale, Toyota of Cool Springs doesn't consider customer service a priority. I have also noticed that, over the 4 years since I bought the car, the service department seems to have a revolving door as far as personnel is concerned. This speaks volumes. Most recently, I called to schedule a repair in response to a letter received from Toyota corporate itself. I had to eventually talk to the manager because the service writer that first took the call didn't seem to know how to handle such a request, and worse than that, didn't seem to know how to find out how to handle it. The service MANAGER(??) was seemingly even less interested in being of service. When I asked a question about the VERY EXPENSIVE extended service plan I bought (from this dealership), he said they would look it up when the car was brought in for service. When I asked couldn't they look it up for me while we were on the phone, the service MANAGER (manager, mind you) said, "Well, I could". And, that was that. Just didn't want to, I guess. Ridiculous! In a nutshell, buy somewhere else. If you do ANY research on cars before you buy them, you will find that you'll know much more about the car you're looking at than the person trying to sell it to you at Toyota of Cool Springs. When I bought mine, the salesperson seemed to know virtually nothing about cars, much less about why I should choose a Toyota over another make. If you do decide to buy at Toyota of Cool Springs, do yourself a favor and have it serviced at another dealership. I really don't enjoy writing things like this, and in fact this is the first negative review I've ever posted online. However, after 4 years of zero effort in providing service after the sale, frustration has set in and I just would like others to be able to avoid it. I'm including my name and phone number on this post just in case Toyota of Cool Springs cares at all about their customers. My guess is they'll never even know it's here. Barry Pendergrass 931-698-6865 UPDATE 3-6-17 I'd like to update this review. Shortly after the original review was posted, the general manager of the dealership, Kris Krabill, contacted me. Long story short, Mr Krabill ( whom up until that point I had no conversations with) is very interested in customer care and the reputation of the dealership. My concerns were heard and every step was taken to make sure that my situation was corrected. Thanks to Mr Krabill for all his help. In light of the way this was handled, I can feel good about recommending Toyota of Cool Springs again. I plan to continue to have my Toyota vehicles taken care of by them. More

Bad service department I've owned a Toyota for over 30 years and this is the worst service. The people were friendly over the phone, but results were bad. I called and mad I've owned a Toyota for over 30 years and this is the worst service. The people were friendly over the phone, but results were bad. I called and made an appointment for 8a and told them I needed the vehicle same day. I arrived a bit before 8, my information was taken and I was told I would receive a call between noon and 2p with the results. At 2:34 I had to call the service rep for an update and he said the mechanic was just now looking at it. Reminded him I needed the vehicle today. 30 min later he calls me back with an estimate that was outrageous and wasn't sure they could get it finished same day. I told him to never mind that I would just pick it up. The only follow up call I get is at the end of the month asking for a diagnostic fee for their efforts. More

Dishonest Crooks Diagnosed made up problems with outrageous repair costs. We got a second opinion. A filter they wanted to replace was 2 weeks old and still white, as Diagnosed made up problems with outrageous repair costs. We got a second opinion. A filter they wanted to replace was 2 weeks old and still white, as our second place showed to us. The work that honestly needed done cost half of what Cool Springs Toyota quoted for that portion of their repair list. Toyota's complete quote $1700, our second opinion $400. More
Aggressive service department tactics are a complete turnoff I have never purchased from this dealership; this is a review of the service department. Although I own two Toyotas and this dealership is the closest I have never purchased from this dealership; this is a review of the service department. Although I own two Toyotas and this dealership is the closest to me, I will never return here. I stopped using them when a service manager tried to sell me a totally unnecessary fuel injection cleaning for several hundred dollars. I am an intelligent person and an informed consumer. Don't try to upsell me on services that the manufacturer does not recommend when I come in for routine service. Then, I started getting calls from a marketing firm that evidently has been hired to mine the internet for contacts. They made a bogus appointment for me, which I went online to cancel (I suppose I then confirmed I was a live contact, unfortunately, I should have just ignored it.) I then received calls to reschedule the bogus appointment, even after I asked to never be contacted again by this marketing company. These kind of aggressive tactics are a complete turn off to me. Business is built on personal relationships, not by call centers. I hope they get many more customer complaints about this and realize what a mistake contracting with this marketing firm was. More
Two days prior to needing service, I called and set up an appointment go take my daughter's Corolla to Toyota of Cool Springs. We had a 10:00 a.m. appointment for an oil change and to look at three tires that kept going low. I was coming in from Alabama and picking her up at the dealer. She had the car there as scheduled and told Bill that she'd be back at 2:00. We got back at 2:30, 4.5 hours later and the car had not been touched! He said he was sorry, but there were people in the waiting area who had been there for 2.5 hours and their cars had not been seen. I DID have an appointment. The dealer KNEW the car was coming. I was not a happy camper, to say the least. Rather than have my daughter wait an hour or so and get caught up in terrible Friday afternoon Nashville traffic, we left. I've never had this happen at our Toyota dealer in Huntsville. We won't be using Toyota of Cool Springs again. More
