Repair bill left for me to pay I would stay away from this dealership!!! I traveled 2 1/2 hrs to get there after speaking to the used car manager and was told he would pull the car I would stay away from this dealership!!! I traveled 2 1/2 hrs to get there after speaking to the used car manager and was told he would pull the car off the lot until I got there. Upon arriving I took the test drive and decided to try and make a deal. My salesperson advised me that we had to get this deal done quickly because there supposedly was nother person making a deal on this car while we speak. I thought that was rude that I drove 2 1/2 hrs and they couldn't wait for me to take my time with making the deal. I did buy the car anyway it had just a little over 13,000 miles on it and was like a new car. They gave a 6 month warranty with the car and I thought that's one positive note. I thought too soon! 3 weeks later I took the car to a major car dealership near me for an inspection. The service writer took me out to the shop to see the underside of my car and to see the issues they found for myself. Two major repairs needed to be done to make it safe to drive. The cost would be over $2700.' I called Clermont right away and spoke to a service advisor. I explained my situation to her. She said she would check with the warranty company and get back to me. She got back to me with bad news. They would not cover the need repairs. I asked whom I could speak to to get some help. She gave me a name. I called him the next day. He told me that he could do nothing and that I would have to call my salesperson and inform him of the situation. I called my salesperson and told him the issues. He said he would email his boss and let him know what my concerns were. He got back to me and stated his boss said he could not help with any monies but the cheapest of the two repairs was covered under the warranty but the repair bill over $2100, for the second repair, was not covered and I would be responsible for that myself. I would think twice about giving my hard earned money to this dealership. When you make a auto purchase, you pay out a lot of money!! Now I have to pay $2100 on top of that. Purchasing a car is suppose to be a good experience. I'm sure you can tell this was a horrible mistake to buy a car here. More

Poor Service, Poor Sales They used to be alright. Now, if you don't have an appointment, which they call and pester you to make, you can't get an oil change in under 2 hours ( They used to be alright. Now, if you don't have an appointment, which they call and pester you to make, you can't get an oil change in under 2 hours (it's an oil change, there's dozens of places to get it done, I'm not interested in making an appointment). Last service experience I was quoted 45 minutes, was there 2 hours. They knew I was annoyed so they glossed over recommended future services, which were kind of a big deal since I was approaching 90k. In addition, sometime mid 2018 I needed tires which the service rep was less than enthusiastic to help with. He said he had one tire in stock and the attitude was "take it or leave it". I left it and went else where. Latest sales experience I was lied to and hassled to persuade me into a lease, which I declined multiple times. They even have you sign a form that says they told you about the lease but you declined, so it's obviously a big deal to them. The sales guy lied saying my insurance would go down because of the new safety features and I'd spend less on gas. Neither turned out true. Reviews are a big deal to them so I intend on leaving one everywhere I can. Sometime during the sales process, the sales guy filled out a survey for me, all 10's and asked me to sign. In the Finance office, I was asked to log into Facebook and write a review on the spot, she'd wait. The line used was "We are a Japanese company which, by there standards, anything less than all 10's is seen as really bad" and "a bad review means I won't get paid commission". Lastly, without consent, the sales rep texted me over the Christmas holiday asking me to complete the survey they sent me with all 10's. I received 4 texts from him as if there was some deadline for me to fill it out. Obviously it's all about the money, not the customer. They did not get all 10's... While I typically wouldn't bother with all these reviews, purchasing a vehicle is no small purchase and it's something I use everyday, which means, every time I go somewhere, I have to think about the poor experiences. I drive past their business daily and I have no intention of stopping back. Posted my first review on Google 2 weeks ago with a prompt response that the GM will reach out. No one ever did. Not sure I'll buy another one here or go back for service...I bought my first Toyota here back in 2014/15 and never got it serviced anywhere else. More
Pushed a lease deal I came to purchase my second vehicle in 4-5 months. I worked with Cory again, who I believe is a good kid. I traded a 2700 mile car I was not using to I came to purchase my second vehicle in 4-5 months. I worked with Cory again, who I believe is a good kid. I traded a 2700 mile car I was not using to buy a Tundra, paying cash. We agreed on the new vehicle cost and the value of my trade but then he pushed and pushed me to do a lease. I didn't want to and resisted for a long time as he continued to push me but I eventually agreed. That is clearly my fault. Now I have a monthly payment, a vehicle I do not own and one where I have no equity. I also lost the tax savings from the trade. I will have burned up the $21k equity from my trade with nothing to show at the end of the 36 month lease. I am 63 years old, able to pay cash and I'm trying to get rid of all my payments in preparation for retirement. A lease deal may be good for Cory but he needs to listen to his customers because it is not good for me and I believe not good in general. I went home and was upset all evening. I called first thing the next morning and tried to reverse the deal to simply buy the truck for cash as we had initially agreed. Cory told me leases are electronic, instantly submitted to Southeast Toyota and he could not change the deal. I offered to pay an expense penalty and suggested the dealership could do whatever they wanted but he said no way. I am so upset with this deal. I have another Tundra I will never get rid of and expected to keep this one too but in 36 months it goes back. They pumped up the price of the Truck to $48k + in the lease agreement when I could have purchased it outright for $36k so the residual is way high. To buy it will end up costing me about $55k for a $36k truck. I really like the new truck but I am extremely upset with the deal. I typically buy 3-5 Toyotas a year and was going to bring my Daughter to buy a new Tacoma but I really feel like I was done wrong. I believe sales people should act as consultants instead of drilling people for particular deals that net them lots more fees and revenue to the extreme detriment of the consumer. Looking out for people is what makes a customer for life. Everyone was nice and Rose did a great job with the paperwork but I am very angry that I couldn't fix my mistake and change the deal. Apparently customers are only meat with eyes to this dealership. More
Absolutely dishonest people I called their internet sales for a quote on a new Camry LE and a trade in appraisal for my 11 year old Camry. I did receive a good quote for the new I called their internet sales for a quote on a new Camry LE and a trade in appraisal for my 11 year old Camry. I did receive a good quote for the new Camry LE which I was happy with; for my trade in, they told me that I should input my car info into their own website page which would provide an estimate. That site, which I think uses KBB data, gave me an appraisal of $3,000 to $3,800. I called in again, and internet sales woman said the range accounts for the condition of the car and they usually try to beat the low end of the range. When I went to their dealership however, the sales manager said my car is worth $1,200. I was not happy, and called the internet sales right in front of him on speaker phone and was again told that they would match or beat what their own website says is my car value. The sales manager simply shrugged off and refused to provide any color on why they are nearly 60% below the quote from the website. When I persisted for an explanation, he simply called me a bunch of racial epithets and insults and walked off — right in front of my teen aged daughters. That same evening, I traded in my car at another area dealer of Toyota, received $3,000 trade in value, and purchased a new Camry LE. Not only is this dealer using false promises and deceit to bring customers in through the doors, but their disregard for the customer, and the disgusting manner in which they abuse customers is just shocking. I am planning to report them to BBB. More

I was involved in an accident as someone rear-ended me going extremely fast and totaled my beautiful Toyota. He knew I was upset and treated me most kindly and with a big hug. Thank you Ben. Ben had my exact replacement Toyota all picked out for me. A beautiful surprise! He quickly and efficiently took me through all the paperwork. He even called the car rental agency that my insurance company provided me with to have them pick up the rental car at the dealership! I appreciated his friendliness, his knowledge during purchasing and his warm patience. Thank you so much Ben! You are terrific! More
