Salesman Lacks Integrity and Careless Paperwork "Sales Specialist" Mike Diaz misled me about the extended warranty and also informed me that I would be penalized if I paid off the vehicle before a 6 "Sales Specialist" Mike Diaz misled me about the extended warranty and also informed me that I would be penalized if I paid off the vehicle before a 6 month time frame. After a price was negotiated, I learned that the floor mats and tinting of 2 side windows were an additional cost. A $32,000 vehicle does not include floor mats? Really? I opted out. After perusing my contract, I found that there is NO waiting period to pay off the vehicle and that I would not be penalized. Regarding the extended warranty: if Toyota is honest about its better than average predicted reliability and if the car is properly maintained, an extended warranty is NOT necessary. Perhaps I could have overlooked the fast-talking sales pitch and the dishonesty, but I cannot accept the carelessness and mishandling of confidential information! The "Customer Care" representative, Aimee Fronhei, prepared my paperwork. Amongst my contract was a Standard Credit Application from another customer. The form included her name, address, phone number, place of employment, salary, and social security number. I mailed the form back to the dealership, but in hindsight, I should have mailed it back to the lady from Mary Kay -- after all, I had her address! Fortunately the only positive outcome was because of Daniella. She was able to obtain an extended warranty refund for me because I was within a particular period of time. In closing, because of my less than satisfactory experience with Toyota of Clermont, I will NOT be returning to purchase my next vehicle! More

This is the third vehicle purchased from Clermont and they have been Awesome every time. This is the first time I leased a vehicle however and I was at ease the whole time. From the time you drive up, they are professional and courteous through the whole process. From test driving multiple cars and trucks to trading in your old car, to negotiating a fair deal for all parties. The dealership is clean and neat and everything is so well run and organized. Highly recommend Toyota of Clermont. Thank you again, we are Toyota owners for life. More

I have been worked with Yzzy Nord a sale person and we were agreed on the price, but when we came in by a confirmed appointment to sign document, she was not there and the price was not the same. We end up not to do business here because word never been delivered and it seems like no one care about the reputation of dealership. More

We bought our last toyota in 2011 (2004 Sequioa) with 114k miles and Phineas as we call the Sequioa, has been from El Paso, TX to Orlando and back 5 times, El Paso to Las Vegas, El Paso to LA, and El Paso to NC. This vehicle has the power to move but with over 250k miles he does not perform as he use to. Over this past weekend the sequioa have having a fuel issue and we decided it might be time for a newer vehicle. Phineas has been great and will stay with the family, we made the decision to invest in a newer vehicle. From the time we arrived on the Lot, we noticed no one was pushing and everyone was friendly. Alex Colon, our salesman greeted us and listened to our concerns and gave several recommendations. Test drove a couple vehicles but we were still unsure. Wanting to make a decision we decided we would give it a few days to think it over. That night we talked and went back to the dealership the next day. Alex even told us he had us in mind which was great. We test drove one more vehicle and decided it was the right move. Esteban our finance gentleman was great going over numbers and Alison Trujillo who completed our paperwork was fantastic. Never once did we feel pressured or disrespected in the whole process. This was one of the best car buying experiences we have ever had. I would definitely recommend Toyota of Clermont to anyone who wants to purchase not only reliable vehicles but also receive a top rated car buying experience. GO, you wont be disappointed at all. They had horrible reviews at the time but I wanted to find out for myself. I was pleasantly surprised to find out they had changed over most of their management staff for the better, I was treated very professional and friendly by employees like Heidi Chase and Nick Petrone and actually felt like an important customer to them. Since then I have purchased 3 cars from them with quite pleasant experiences. But things have quickly changed. I had an appointment to discuss extending my lease on Saturday. The dealership had reached out to me to see if I wanted to discuss my options when I came in for my service appointment. I called and explained I normally come in at six for service but scheduled at seven so I could meet with them, She assured me that would be great and she or someone from leasing would meet me at 7, just go to the front desk and ask for her. I arrived at 7 and told service I had an appointment and needed to be out by 8 that I would be over in the sales department ,if he could text me when my car was ready. I went over and asked the young receptionist if my lease person had arrived yet. She acted shocked and said she doesn't come in until 1030. I explained that I had spoken with her yesterday and was told she would meet me at 7 that the lease people don't work normal sale hours. When I asked if she could call or text someone she said she didn't have anyone's number but someone from sales would be there at 8. I explained to her that I changed my service appointment til 7 from 6 just to meet with her and was assured they would be there. Now I felt bad for this young lady. I don't think Nick or the owner of Toyota of Clermont would be happy to hear that they blew off a sales appointment ,with someone who has purchased over 15 Toyota's in his lifetime, that they had worked so hard to convince he should be their customer going forward, To make matters worse, service did not have my car ready! I stood there fuming in the dealership that no longer seem to care about my business. No one approached me for 45 minutes, to ask if they could assist me . Believe me they knew I was very unhappy. Not only was I blown off by the sales department but I was now going to be late for my 830 appointment. There are way too many Toyota dealerships around to have to deal with this uncaring atmosphere and treatment! Lakeland Toyota is a lot further away but I was always treated like a valued customer by them in the past. More

Repair bill left for me to pay I would stay away from this dealership!!! I traveled 2 1/2 hrs to get there after speaking to the used car manager and was told he would pull the car I would stay away from this dealership!!! I traveled 2 1/2 hrs to get there after speaking to the used car manager and was told he would pull the car off the lot until I got there. Upon arriving I took the test drive and decided to try and make a deal. My salesperson advised me that we had to get this deal done quickly because there supposedly was nother person making a deal on this car while we speak. I thought that was rude that I drove 2 1/2 hrs and they couldn't wait for me to take my time with making the deal. I did buy the car anyway it had just a little over 13,000 miles on it and was like a new car. They gave a 6 month warranty with the car and I thought that's one positive note. I thought too soon! 3 weeks later I took the car to a major car dealership near me for an inspection. The service writer took me out to the shop to see the underside of my car and to see the issues they found for myself. Two major repairs needed to be done to make it safe to drive. The cost would be over $2700.' I called Clermont right away and spoke to a service advisor. I explained my situation to her. She said she would check with the warranty company and get back to me. She got back to me with bad news. They would not cover the need repairs. I asked whom I could speak to to get some help. She gave me a name. I called him the next day. He told me that he could do nothing and that I would have to call my salesperson and inform him of the situation. I called my salesperson and told him the issues. He said he would email his boss and let him know what my concerns were. He got back to me and stated his boss said he could not help with any monies but the cheapest of the two repairs was covered under the warranty but the repair bill over $2100, for the second repair, was not covered and I would be responsible for that myself. I would think twice about giving my hard earned money to this dealership. When you make a auto purchase, you pay out a lot of money!! Now I have to pay $2100 on top of that. Purchasing a car is suppose to be a good experience. I'm sure you can tell this was a horrible mistake to buy a car here. More
