I look happy in the photo. Why? Because it's a huge accomplishment for me to buy a new truck at the age of 21. Salesmen did not respond to over half the messages I asked them a Why? Proof can be given with text messages about everything that went wrong. I was fortunate enough to get my truck faster than anyone I've heard after an allocation date was provided. Received in 3 weeks after allocation date and 1 week after build date. The dates don't matter to me, I know the dealership can't change that, but it's the communication between the customer and salesmen that I'm more concerned about. It's frustrating buying my first brand new vehicle and realizing at the age I'm at now that once they(dealership or salesmen) allocate a vehicle and have you locked in, they could care less to bug you about anything as before when they try to earn your business when you're "not sure about this vehicle". The process went by smoothly when the truck arrived and the keys were given to me pretty fast... about the only compliment I can give to Toyota, for the finance department anyways. Nobody cares about customer service in the sellers market. I wish I was back a couple years and your business was the only thing they're trying to get. Rather just a sale at the end of the day...
