When we made our visit we had intended to only look for a minivan for me, even though we were both in the market for a new vehicle. Mary was so helpful, and the dealership's inventory so good, that my wife was also able to find just the new vehicle she had been looking for, a Chevy SUV. Since our purchase we have both been extremely satisfied with our vehiles' performance and value. We feel we got an excellent deal, and didn't have to give away our first born to get it done (we tried, but they wouldn't take her!). Seriously, I have encouraged all of my friends, family, and co-workers to check out Jack Saffro when they are in the market for a new or used vehicle, and ask for Mary Dixon. She is fantastic! More

We were in the market for a used (2007 -09) Toyota Sienna XLE. While doing my research I realized that there were not a whole lot of them on the market and the pricing is all over the board. So after visiting several dealer websites, I decided to contact Mary over at Jack Safro Toyota. From the vehicles they had posted online, they seemed to have fairly competitive pricing and a decent selection to choose from. I had expressed interest in a Sienna that they had and we stopped in (unannounced) because we happened to be in the area. Mary was very accommodating and we took a look at the vehicle. Unfortunately after seeing the vehicle, it wasn't for us. We didn't care for the paint color or the interior and it had lacked a few of the options we would have liked. Overall, it just "wasn't for us". After a slight let-down, Mary said, "hang on, I think I have another one you may be interested in and we can probably come close in pricing." She went and got the paper work and showed us the other van, it was perfect! The paint color was awesome, the interior was a gray leather which is what we wanted and it had all of the features we were looking for (the other van didn't). Sold! The price we got on it was awesome and the whole process was very smooth... all this with an excited toddler constantly trying to climb in and drive off with a Prius :) More
I dealt with mary online and through email we came up with a deal for my trade and new purchase. It was excellent i will definatly do it again when we need another car. Mary was very friendly and efficient in her communication about the potentail purchase. I was looking for a specific low mileage used FJ Cruiser (color and options) that Jack Safro had on their lot. I was a couple hours away south of Chicago, truthfully I wasn't expecting much when I called, t (color and options) that Jack Safro had on their lot. I spoke to Mary Dixon, we negotiated price - something most other dealers wouldn't do at all on the phone - and she guaranteed the vehicle was in the condition as it was described on the internet. With a guarantee the vehicle was there, in the condition described, at a price we were both happy with, I made the trip. It was one of the best experiences buying a car I've had - and I've been buying cars for 37 years. Mary gave me the keys to drive it, no tagging along for the ride, no pressure sale, no non stop sales pitch. To be fair I knew a lot about the truck and what I was looking for, so it wasn't needed, but I got the feeling it wasn't how they operate. I had a question about the function of one of the dash buttons, they brought in mechanics and sales to get the answer for me before I left. I enjoy driving the truck as much today and when I brought it home, it's been a great purchase. I had a great experience at Jack Safro, and highly recommend them. I only wish they were closer to me so I could return there for service when needed - they're much better than either Toyota dealer close to my home. I will return to Jack Safro and ask for Mary Dixon when I'm in the market for another vehicle. More
This dealership is an embarrassment to the prestigious Toyota brand name. The only reason they're surviving is because they offer the lowest prices in the region. We made an inquiry by email and were promptly contacted by the Internet manager with a price quote. He asked us to come in, and gave us the names of 2 salespeople to contact if he was not in. We went the next day and were told by a receptionist, quite politely, that EVERYONE was in a meeting in the next building, but would we wait for 10 minutes. We agreed because Brookfield is far away from our place. 35 minutes later, we were still waiting. Another blonde, middle-aged receptionist was there - when we dared ask about the salesperson, she was positively rude, and reluctantly got some other salesperson to help us. He was young and an intern, but was helpful. We stayed there for courtesy while he showed us what they had. We left never to come back. Nice work, Jack Safro. Hope Toyota catches on. Just get rid of your systems and that dumb receptionist. More

We "tried" to buy a car here. The first visit, for a test drive. We waited in the show room for at least 20 minutes while the lot attendant looked for the car. Still determined to buy a car from this dealer we talked with steve Recth Jr. and he told us he could get any car with any options we wanted. We were calling him about 4 times a week to find out when the car would be in. We were told by another dealer that he was just stringing us along, wich he was. After about 3 weeks of begging this guy to sell us a car we went to another dealership where we were treated with respect. We bought a car that day and picked it up abpout 3 days later. More
Took the car for a/c service on June 16. Charged us $200+ to inject dye and replenish refrigerant. The dye was supposed to detect leaks in the system. In 7 weeks, the a/c was not cooling again. Took the car in, they said they found a leak in a pipe going from front to back with an estimated repair cost of $550. Okay, decided to swallow the cost and gave the go-ahead for the repair. Now, I am out $750 for fixing an a/c leak. Got a call towards the end of the day telling us that they found ANOTHER leak, and this particular pipe was not in stock. And oh, it would add another $150 to the repair bill. Now I am out almost $1,000 for an a/c refrigerant leak! The car had to remain at the dealer for 2 days until the part comes in. If we take the car, there will be an additional charge for re-jacking it. We were told the only option is to rent a car at $32/day and the generous dealer fill foot half the cost. Great, my wife shows up to pick up the rental car. She is told that the only available rental is now $42/day. She said that they promised a car at $32/day and we were told, we just promised you a car and not a price!! Who said the customer is always right? Needless to say, Jack Safro has lost a loyal customer due to their horrendous customer service. More
