Mr. Agostino went above and beyond to help reassure and expedite service for a computer chip issue in my best friend's 2012 4-Runner that was purchased at this dealership. Unfortunately, the staff within t expedite service for a computer chip issue in my best friend's 2012 4-Runner that was purchased at this dealership. Unfortunately, the staff within their service center were unable to tell my best friend what had intitally caused this problem and whether it was something serious such as a potential recall or if there was any technical service bulletin (TSB) issued about it; this vehicle is nearly brand new, so it contines to bother me that it happened in the first place. Toyota Care warranty service program took nearly five hours to tow his truck to this dealership, covering only the first 30 miles of the trip, so after a precarious and highly stressful day of getting stranded on the highway upon repeated stalling, followed by several calls and waiting five hours for the Toyota Care program call center to get its act together, it was such a terrific relief to witness someone finally treating my best friend like the loyal customer and all-around awesome guy he is --- that someone was Mr. Agostino at Tufankjian Toyota. I'm extremely grateful he was able to put him at ease; I could not recommend a kinder and more efficient rep. More

Brought my 2011 Toyota Sienna to get 3 things done on June 16th: routine maintenance, fix a faulty sliding door and get the interior detailed. 4 hours later (Saturday without my minivan) - they called me June 16th: routine maintenance, fix a faulty sliding door and get the interior detailed. 4 hours later (Saturday without my minivan) - they called me up and said they can only do the maintenance and asked if I could bring my car back some other day. They were unapologetic and even rude. Never said 'hi' at reception or 'sorry' when they couldn't get the things done - when I spoke with the service manager at pick-up, his response was "I am only in charge of the service dept. and can't speak for the detailing". I really didn't like the attitude of this place and will never bring my car back for service because they simply don't have respect for my time. More
On Saturday April 14, 2012, I brought my 2011 Camry into Tufankjian Toyota in Braintree for a 20K scheduled maintenance as well as an alignment . The service advisor was great. He called me when the car was Tufankjian Toyota in Braintree for a 20K scheduled maintenance as well as an alignment . The service advisor was great. He called me when the car was ready. When I returned home, I inspected the car and realized that the tires were not rotated as I hit a curb recently and have a noticeable scratch on the front right rim. The tire that was damaged from the curb was still on the original right front rim. I called Tufankjian Toyota and was put on hold then directed to Nicole Terhune's voicemail. She called me back after she spoke with the technician (Sam B) who insisted that he rotated my tires. Nicole offered me a free rotation if I went back that same day however due to my weekend schedule I was not able to return to the dealership after having left the car with them for half of the day. Upon further reviewing the paper work I feel that this was a case of negligence on the technician's part. Having brought my car to other dealerships in the past for alignment services I recall receiving paperwork which provides details of the service. The printout sheet usually lays out the difference in degrees if the alignment was off balance (camber and toe) as well as the final degree after the adjustment. In this particular instance there was no documentation of any alignment services and if there was no documentation how would the technician know that an alignment was required. Furthermore I am doubtful that a technician will go out of their way to remove the tires from all the rims and remount them back and then balance them. Unfortunately this was not the first incident with Tufankjian Toyota. I brought my 2009 Toyota Venza in for a simple oil change. The technician forgot to tighten the drain nut and there was a pool of oil on my driveway. This issue could have been easily avoidable if the technician double checked their own work. The plan was to use this car to drive out of state and luckily my dad saw the pool of oil and told me. I called the service manager and he offered me a free oil change on my next schedule. I thought this was just an oversight on an oil change so I was satisfied with how the manager handled this first incident. For this most recent incident, it was a case of plain laziness and poor customer service. Perhaps the technician thought it was okay to "skip a step" or maybe Sam thought the customer was a female and figured I would not know if the tires were rotated. What frustrates me the most is that their multi-point inspection has the tread depth measurement. If you measure this Toyota Camry correctly the front two tread depths are noticeably lower than the back two, which is why I needed the rotation. For those who may read this reference and still choose to go to this dealership or perhaps have no choice, I would like to offer some words of advice when dealing with Tufankjian Toyota of Braintree 1. Make chalk marks on the four tires so you know that the technician has rotated tires correctly. 2. Make sure there is a alignment printout when there was an alignment performed. 3. Make sure to check oil if an oil change has been performed (new oil should be gold color - not brown) 4. Make sure you ask them to double check their work and especially have them check the drain plug is tightened (not really tight - they might run a risk in stripping the plug) More
I first went to Toyota Braintree last Feb 2011 to purchase my 1st Toyota even though I was a little nervous with all the negative advertising about defective brakes and accidents. But Consumer Repor purchase my 1st Toyota even though I was a little nervous with all the negative advertising about defective brakes and accidents. But Consumer Reports still rate Toyota very high, so I went. Every person I met, from the entire Tufankjian Family, to our Sales Rep, Sunny, made me feel very comfortable. Sunny spent a great amount of time answering all my questions, demonstrating all the new features and letting me test drive my choice of 2011 Prius (amazing car!). Prior to my Prius, I had been a devoted Honda Accord client for 16 yrs. But now after 1 yr with my Prius, I am definitely converted to being a Toyota client. Today I came in for my 10,000 mile check up (oil change). Again, all people were incredibly knowledgable and patient, including Natale in the Service area. While waiting for my car to be serviced and to get my annual State Inspection Sticker, Sunny spent a good amount of time talking to me and my husband (who also bought a used Prius the same day I bought my new car). Sunny has such a great, upbeat personality, you can't help smiling when you are around him. He truly is the consumate salesman...very knowledgeable, never pushy, but always willing to "go for the sale". I am impressed with some of the new upcoming features Toyota is developing and I told Sunny to keep me in mind in the future. Right now, I'm still in love with my Prius 2011. I keep bragging about it and showing it to everyone I meet. And I love to tell my co-workers I only have to fill up with gas twice per month and am getting 45-50 MPG! This is an amazing car. And Tufankjian Toyota of Braintree is easy to get to and make you feel like a close friend. Thank you Sunny. And thank you Tufankjian Toyota. I will recommend this dealer to everyone who is looking for either a new or used car. Sincerely, Jeannine Foster More
I have been a customer of Tufankjian Toyota for 5 Years +. I have never had a bad or even moderately undesirable visit. Everyone from the service department right through to the finance department is cons +. I have never had a bad or even moderately undesirable visit. Everyone from the service department right through to the finance department is consistant, professional and honest. We have purchsed three new vehicles from them in the past five years, have only taken these vehicles to Tufankjian for service. They don't skip a beat, the vehicle is ready when promised and they make sure that you, their customer fully understands what was done to the vehicle. As far as the sales department is concerned, same comments, my most recent purchase was ready when promised, fully prepped, fueled, and the sales person Sam Zaiden made absolutly certain that I knew everything about the new vehicles features. He even went as far as programing all of my radio stations into the new vehicle from the old. (That is amazing customer service and attention to detail) I would strongly recommend making your next Toyota purchase here. More
