Both Ruben and Socrates made sure we were aware of every aspect of the car we were purchasing. They even told us to call them if we have any questions about the car, rather than reading the lengthy car manual. They listened intently to what we wanted and we got just that. They had nothing but smiles on their faces throughout the entire experience and there wasn't a moment where we weren't laughing. They made the experience of buying a new car memorable & not taunting as others make this experience seem to be. We recently purchased a used Sequoia from Toyota of Braintree. We are very happy with the car and the final deal we got, but we were not impressed with our buying experience. Our primary sales person Braintree. We are very happy with the car and the final deal we got, but we were not impressed with our buying experience. Our primary sales person, Ian Merrill was not very helpful at all. Any negotiations that were done were through their internet service department. At the end, we got the deal we needed. Between trade in value and discounts, the final deal was about $3,500 less than Ian said they could ever go. We dealt with Ian again when it came time to finalize the deal and take delivery of the car. We found him unfriendly and occasionally downright rude. The delivery was supposed to take 30-45 minutes. Almost at the end of a several hour long wait, we came to realize the payments were higher than they had initially quoted. Ian’s response was a flippant “what do you want me to do”. John in the finance department worked hard and was able to get to the payments we needed. In the end, we got the car that we wanted. Unfortunately though, it was a prototypical used car buying experience. More
