There was no haggling. He was kind, professional and more importantly personable. He put himself in my shoes and gave me the best deal for my money and for me. I was expecting to come out the dealership with a headache, which has been my past experience. Instead I came out with a beautiful full loaded 2016 Rav4 and a smile that was illumiated the room!!! After it was all done I exhaled!!! More

Mr.James Braxton is the epitome of an excellent car salesman I had the pleasure of dealing with Mr. Braxton on Monday, March 21, 2016. I had spoken to him previously on the phone before visiting the dealership I had the pleasure of dealing with Mr. Braxton on Monday, March 21, 2016. I had spoken to him previously on the phone before visiting the dealership so he knew exactly what I was looking for. Mr. Braxton met me at the door with a firm handshake and a wide smile. He told me that he did not have the color I was looking for on the lot but he located what I was looking for at a nearby dealership. At that point, Mr. Braxton took me to the service bay where he had the same model of car (different color) available and ready to show me all of the features, bells, and whistles the car had. He answered all of my questions and, in doing so, he demonstrated he "knows his stuff". After we finished with the demonstration, we went for a test drive and returned to the dealership. Mr. Braxton took me for a meeting with the Customer Relations employee and then he left to get my car. At no point during this visit was there any hesitation on the part of the dealership in honoring the price quotes that I came in, From the very first moment, it was a pleasure dealing with Mr. Braxton. He is a very personable man who is very down-to-earth and honest. He is definitely a credit to his profession and he makes all car salesman proud to have him in their midst. Without question, should I ever need to buy another Toyota, Mr. Braxton is definitely at the top of the list of people I will turn to. Thank you, Mr. Braxton for everything. This is to acknowledge and thank JAMES BRAXTON for his assistance in helping me through the process, not one I took lightly since the car cost more than my first home. James was at all times highly professional, approachable, informed, polite, non-threatening and non-aggressive. I realize Toyota of Bowie is there to make a sale. However, James always made me feel the dealership respected and appreciated me as the consumer. James took his time in going over the various technical features of the car and was patient in answering all my questions. One of the attributes I appreciated was his lack of unnecessary aggression. In fact I walked out of another dealership recently due to the manner in which the sales manager approached the sale and his efforts to "railroad" me into the purchase. James also possesses above average consumer and human relations skills. It was probably those skills above all others that helped to seal the deal. But it was delivered (from a different dealer) with no floor mats. Two other local Toyota dealerships refused to help me obtain floor mats, saying that they did not want to deal with a fleet vehicle. However, Brian Cunningham at Toyota of Bowie came through for me. He ordered the floor mats for me and was very helpful and patient with the somewhat complicated payment process through the fleet representative on the phone. Brian is a star! He earned my respect with a simple act of service excellence. More
