The service completed around 9:00am. I was waiting in the lounge until 11:00 still not received pick up notice. I went to the field and found my car was ready for pickup. The manager told me that the KARR security system was a minimal add-on and would pay for itself through an auto insurance discount. However, I later found out that the program is not mandatory and adds no minimal add-on and would pay for itself through an auto insurance discount. However, I later found out that the program is not mandatory and adds no practical value to my 2025 Corolla, which already has a built-in manufacturer security system. The insurance discount was only $8 over a six-month period—nowhere near enough to justify the nearly $1,000 cost. To make matters worse, the side deck remained open even after installation, and I had to return to the dealership just to find out what went wrong. Additionally, another add-on called the "Resist-All" program was included without proper explanation or discussion. I was asked to sign off on it as if it were standard paperwork, which was misleading and unfair. I saw people look nice and friendly, however I felt bitterness after I finally got the papers from the dealership. Please stop misleading customers and be transparent about optional add-ons and their actual value. More
