I came in for a routine 6 month rotation and inspection. I was recommended to spend over $1400.00 for four new tires and new rotors The car is 6 1/2 years old with 31,000 miles. After consulting my trusted auto mechanic, I decided that Toyota West was trying to see "what was in my wallet" more than anything else. As a senior citizen on fixed income, I have to be careful of these tactics. In addition, the representative recommended new wiper blades for $74.00! When they went to install them, they realized they were the wrong ones, and that they didn't have mine in stock! Overall, a disappointing experience. More

Brought my car for service two weeks ago for oil change. CJ told me I needed breaks, so I scheduled to get with fixed. Everything started out good. Was advised where to hangout. After about 2 plus hrs. No one ever came back to follow up or to advise status of my maintance. I ask if he could check the status my veh. That person called my last name. My son purchased the veh. for me. The vehs had been completed some time ago.. All that was done - tires rotated. You don’t have to be the person that purchased the veh . to bring it in for maintenance. More

I have not had a problem with Toyota West in the past. But this particular time I was not happy. I dropped my car off at 10am for a recall service appointment and was told when I made the appointment it wo But this particular time I was not happy. I dropped my car off at 10am for a recall service appointment and was told when I made the appointment it would take four hours. No one said anything different when I dropped the car off and it was not ready until 4:40 pm only because I called and pushed them. Poor communication on their part as they should have set the expectation that recalls get squeezed in between other appointments and get low priority. That's not what they told me but that's the impression I got. When I got my paperwork it had a promised completion time of 7pm! More
