I leased a RAV4, 3 years ago. A month before my lease was due I went to the dealership to find out how much was owed on my vehicle to see if it was better to keep the vehicle or purchase a new one. I was tol due I went to the dealership to find out how much was owed on my vehicle to see if it was better to keep the vehicle or purchase a new one. I was told to wait until my lease was up. I was explained that the extra miles were going to be forgiven since I was staying with them. I returned to the dealership and spoke to a manager about this and he gave 4 different quotes. By the way they are very sneaky how they try to trick you. No matter what I tried to do they were adding the miles and what was owed on the old car. If I kept the old car I would have paid about $24,000 or more for a 2016 and if I leased a new one over $30,000. Be very alert and check every single word and number before you sign any legal document. Be aware, they only have a few new cars. They are very, very dishonest people. More
WORST DEALERSHIP EVER AVOID VACAVILLE TOYOTA! This is the worst car repair experience I have had in my life--dealer is dishonest and has insulted my integrity by refusing AVOID VACAVILLE TOYOTA! This is the worst car repair experience I have had in my life--dealer is dishonest and has insulted my integrity by refusing to accept a credit card in payment, for no reason except to insult me. We took a 2012 Corolla in for service. First--the 120,000 mile service cost $1200 (I found out later that average cost for that service is $600 or so). Then, they told us we had an oil leak which would cost $3500 to fix, because they had to remove the engine to fix the problem. We went to look at the leak & the mechanic explained that he had to remove a couple parts to get to the part he had to fix; the parts manager said the cost of parts was about $200. The "taking out the engine" was a total lie. One part of the repair was to be paid by an extended warranty. They will not release the car to us until they receive payment from the warranty company. To top it off, they will not accept my credit card in payment. They require cash or certified funds because we have complained about their dishonesty. WORST DEALERSHIP EVER! More
This place sucks! I only gave them 1 star because I can't give them zero. First I went there to order Genuine Toyota mud flaps. They wanted $130, when Toyota's webs I only gave them 1 star because I can't give them zero. First I went there to order Genuine Toyota mud flaps. They wanted $130, when Toyota's website lists them for $80 MSRP. So then I purchased Genuine Toyota mud flaps online for MSRP. Then I made an appointment to have Genuine Toyota mud flaps installed on my new Toyota. They quoted me $160 to install. No problem there. Next, on the day of the appointment arrive and I show up with my Genuine Toyota mud flaps, which are clearly labeled as so and includes the name of the dealership I bought them from. Finally they refused to install them, because I didn't purchase them from their dealership. So, here I am leaving them a crappy review. I will never have my Toyota's serviced here, I will go to another dealership. F U Toyota of Vacaville! More

Their hourly rate is more important than your hourly rate. We travel often and visit several dealerships across the country. I haven't seen such a poor slow rate of service in anywhere else. Clearly ToyotaCare We travel often and visit several dealerships across the country. I haven't seen such a poor slow rate of service in anywhere else. Clearly ToyotaCare clientele are NOT a priority and appointments don't matter. If you need to service your vehicle for regular low mile maintenance go somewhere else. High mileage vehicles with a high cost of repairs are a priority at this service dealership. More

My family traveled out of county since were were communicating with Ms. Griere on a potential deal for a Toyota Corolla Hatchback XSE. We came in on Sunday, December 2, 2018 and agreed on a deal that would allow us to receive a $1000.00 rebate. We put in a deposit of $500.00 to order the vehicle since Toyota Vacaville did not have it in their inventory. We also agreed to put the deposit after Ms. Griere gave us an overview of the total price for the vehicle (which was approved by Mr. Law). We also wrote a check and it was kept by Ms. Griere for this "deal". We proceeded to ask Ms. Griere when the car would potentially arrive and she responded that it would arrive within a couple of days. Toyota Vacaville contacted us on December 3, 2018 stating that the vehicle had arrived and inquired if we would be available to pick it up. Since we are out of county, we could not make arrangements to pick it up on that date and it was agreed that we would pick it up on December 5, 2018. On the morning of December 5, 2018, Ms. Griere texted us to confirm the pickup date and time. Ms. Griere also instructed us to bring proper identification and form of payment. Upon arrival, we provided Ms. Griere our form of payment and we initialed the paperwork with the price that was agreed on December 2, 2018. After that, Ms. Griere told us to test drive the vehicle. After test driving the vehicle, Ms. Griere went back to Mr. Law’s office. After coming out from Mr. Law’s office, Ms. Griere informed us that the $1000.00 rebate ended on December 3, 2018 and that we would have to pay an additional $1000.00 if we were to purchase the vehicle. We immediately declined to pay an additional $1000.00 since it was agreed on December 2, 2018 that we would be receiving the $1000.00 rebate. Ms. Griere or Mr. Law failed to inform us that we would be loosing the $1000.00 rebate if we did not pick up the vehicle on December 3, 2018. Moreover, if Ms. Griere or Mr. Law properly conveyed this information to us, then we would not have agreed, thus not wasting our time, resources, and energy to come to Toyota Vacaville. After disagreeing to pay the additional funds, Ms. Griere’s disposition, demeanor, and tone immediately changed and stated, “We never made a deal on Sunday.” Ms. Griere further communicated that we were informed on December 3, 2018 that the $1000.00 rebate would not apply if we did not pick up the car. ?As a dealership who represents Toyota, it is important that one should take full accountability and treat their customers with TRANSPARENCY, respect and kindness. Unfortunately, this was not the case for our family at Toyota Vacaville. The fact that Ms. Griere accused us of being informed about the expiration date of the $1000.00 rebate, is beyond unethical. It is common knowledge that we would not have rearrange our busy schedules and drove far if we knew the $1000.00 rebate would not apply. Ms. Greire and Mr. Law’s lack of professionalism, work ethic, integrity, and respect for their customers will forever steer my family from purchasing another Toyota vehicle. Our family have owned three generations of Toyota Corollas and several other Toyota manufactured vehicles and cannot believe the nonsense we were witnessing from Toyota Vacaville. We will never support a company who would hire such amateur and untrustworthy individuals. More

I purchased a 2018 Highlander late July this year. My experience with this dealership was OK, up to the time that I discovered a defective windshield; damaged most likely (per my local Toyota dealership), when the vehicle was "prepped" for my delivery. I live in the Redding area where we experienced several horrible fires all Summer long. We literally did not see the sky & sun for several weeks. The circular scratches all over my windshield are only visible when the sun shines directly into the glass. So, it was actually several weeks before I discovered the damaged glass. My local dealership informed me that it would not be covered under warranty since the damage was obviously man-made. They sent me to another auto-glass expert, and this expert's opinion was the same; the windshield is destroyed and needs replacement. TOYOTA VACAVILLE management is denying all responsibility. They have not even asked if they could see the vehicle. My salesperson, Haley Harrigan, even suggested that possibly the "hot ash" from the fires could have caused the numerous large swirls throughout the entire windshield!!! I couldn't believe she actually said that!!! This was the first time I have spoken to her about my problem. She then said that she had to go; she had "already spent 5 minutes away from the floor and possible new customers". She could care less about the customer once the sale is complete- it's all about the commission..... I have NEVER ever posted a negative review before for anyone or anything. However, my experience with TOYOTA VACAVILLE has been so amazingly negative, I felt it was my responsibility to inform the public. Also, I have purchased many new vehicles in the past; this is the first time I have ever had a negative experience. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS DEALER OR SALESPERSON! Sue D. More

Had to take it in for check engine light problem....third trip there and $2,500 later, with vehicle running worse than when it got there, since they were just throwing parts at the problem and not diagnosing anything. I was sent to Chevy dealer for fix with me being on the hook for another $300 for diagnostics. Toyota Service Manager Tim Stacey, refused to get me ride back home with Lyft stating they couldn't get me home because they couldn't authorize it. Horrendous Service We have been taking our vehicles here for the last 20 + years, granted it has been owned by different owners during that time. We have never had such We have been taking our vehicles here for the last 20 + years, granted it has been owned by different owners during that time. We have never had such repeated bad service as we have with this current owner. They asked us to bring in our vehicle for its scheduled oil change and we did so. A few hours after we dropped off the vehicle, they called us and told us that we needed to replace/fix 3 different things on the vehicle and their charge would be $4,000. Based on our past experience with this shop, we know they are always a bit high on their prices, so we took the vehicle to 2 different shops in the area. Both shops agreed that one of the items did not need to be fixed as there was nothing wrong with it. If it had to be fixed, they would have charged me $400, whereas the Toyota vacaville wanted $800. Both shops agreed that the other 2 items needed replacement and they charged me $1600, out the door, whereas Toyota vacaville wanted $3200, unsure if the $3200 included taxes and such. Lastly, the shop who did the repairs told us that the engine comparment and the frame area was covered in oil. Apparently, Toyota vacaville spilled oil all over the compartment when they were doing the oil change and did not bother to clean it up, whereas this shop went ahead and cleaned it all up. So, we called Toyota vacaville to complain on the shoddy oil change and the fact that they wanted to replace an item that was perfectly fine, not to mention their prices are way to high. Long story short, the manager of the shop never returned our repeated calls, even when their front desk clerks said he was on the premises. So, we shall never do business with Vacaville toyota again. We shall take our vehicles for the warranty work to Toyota Davis as we have heard good things about them. More
