Probably the Best Car buying Experience Ever : I had the very good fortune of contacting Kevin Hamlin of Toyota Town of Stockton to inquire about a price for a 2014 Highlander LTD. I usually buy c I had the very good fortune of contacting Kevin Hamlin of Toyota Town of Stockton to inquire about a price for a 2014 Highlander LTD. I usually buy cars through the internet salesperson and I usually have done my homework. I had already had gotten the True Car price and the Consumer Reports dealer cost after the dealer holdback on a New Highlander Limited FWD. I live in Fresno, so I contacted the dealers in Fresno who were selling at sticker and knew from True Car and Consumer reports that these cars were in short supply and the dealers were not coming off sticker much. So I emailed Toyota town of Stockton, among other dealers relating to the Highlander I was inquiring about. Kevin Hamlin wrote back that he didn't have the specific FWD Highlander Limited that I was inquiring about, but he did have a Highlander Limited Platinum AWD. This is the top of the line Highlander that had AWD, the Technology package, with the frontal collision, lane departure,and radar cruise control and Panoramic moonroof on a Predawn Grey with Almond Leather Interior. This car's MSRP was $4,000 more than the Highlander I was looking to buy. The next thing I know is that he sent me the MSRP and the Dealers Invoice cost and said he could give it to me for only $1300 more than I had offered on FWD Limited did not have the technology safety features, panoramic moonroof and his was AWD. I was taken back. So I thought I would check Longo Toyota in El Monte they are the largest Toyota Dealer in the United States and usually have great deals. There internet manager said they would not match that price and there had to be something wrong. I contacted a friend who was a Toyota salesperson at a dealership in the valley that didn't have any Limited's and he checked the VIN # said Toyota of Stockton had one arriving as Kevin had said. He told me if he really gives it to you at that Price Buy it. He said they had one coming in but there was no way they could sell it at the price Kevin had offered. A week Later Kevin called and said the Highlander had arrived and I went to pick it up and he had it all prepped. It was very nice to deal with a gentleman that was a man of his word, neither True Car.com or Consumer reports shows a price lower than I have paid though prices are declining. Toyota Town of Stockton and Kevin Hamlin made this a very professional and simple business transaction. If you are in the market to buy a new Toyota, the due diligence test is to inquire about a price from Kevin Hamlin of Toyota of Stockton before you proceed in buying a car. I am very appreciative of the price and the ease of this transaction. More

Very good experience Me and my husband was looking around for few weeks to see which car I would buy and we went to Honda, Nissan, Toyota, Dodge, Ford dealership and I was Me and my husband was looking around for few weeks to see which car I would buy and we went to Honda, Nissan, Toyota, Dodge, Ford dealership and I was debating on Honda Accord or Toyota Camry. I went back to Honda dealership to look at the Honda Accord again and I was approached by one of the sales person and was not to friendly. I told him I was still thinking about which car to buy then he gave his card and said to let him know when I'm ready. That right then I was not to pleased about what he did. So me and my husband decided to eat in Sacramento and after I told him to go to Toyota town in Sacramento, so I thought we were driving there but then my husband just passed it and he said just go to Stockton Toyota and as soon as we got there I got off the car and right away Suzy Negrete asked if we needle help and I told her I wanted to see the Toyota Camry and that I was a Costco member and right away she said she's the right person to talk too because she was one of the person handling Costco member. And she went straight to the point and very friendly and professional and showed the priced and warranty they have I was very pleased so I decided to buy the car.
