Hi Edwin, I would like to clarify why we suggested to you it would have been a waste of your money to pay for an unnecessary oil change. Your vehicle was NOT sitting on the lot for 11+ months when you purchased it. The production date of your Prius was 10/30/17...which is a little over 1 month before you purchased it. Toyota's guideline for your FIRST oil change is at 10,000 miles or 12 months. Our Service Manager Steve tried to explain this to you before you stormed out of this office. It would have been unethical for us to charge you for an oil change service when it was NOT necessary. Please gather ALL the facts before you accuse our dealership of not having our customers best interest at heart. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions.
