On 9/17/2019, I spent approximately 4 plus hours purchasing a 2019 Toyota Rav4 from Toyota South Atlanta. The dealership is located at 6865 Jonesboro Road, Morrow, GA 30260. During my car buying exp purchasing a 2019 Toyota Rav4 from Toyota South Atlanta. The dealership is located at 6865 Jonesboro Road, Morrow, GA 30260. During my car buying experience: 1. Inaccurate online car listing 2. 40 mins. delay waiting on the salesperson, Derrick 3. Biased treatment and refusal to review gap insurance from the Finance Manager because I came with bank financing 4. Installation of the wrong weather mats 5. 1-hour wait for the car to be prepared and washed 6. Given the wrong spare key. I made an additional trip to retrieve the correct spare key which is 40 miles one way 7. Lastly, I ultimately discovered after 3 days of driving the vehicle that it was unbalanced and terribly out of alignment. I spoke with my salesperson Derrick and returned to the dealership on 9/27/2019 to have the alignment fixed and car balanced. The level of service to get me to purchase the vehicle diminished altogether when it came to addressing my concerns with the car. On 10/14/2019, I returned to the dealership again because the alignment continued to be off and the car was vibrating. I filed a complaint with Toyota Corporate office on 10/14/2019 as well because the dealership and Customer Relations Manager, Brown Lynn, accused me of damaging the vehicle instead of investigating the root cause of a return trip to have the new vehicle fixed. The complaint to Toyota Corporate office [#1910140840] was not assigned to a case manager, followed up by Toyota South dealership, and closed as indicated by a future representative. The complaint came in part from Toyota of Marietta, GA, refusing to inspect the car and suggesting I take it back to Toyota South Atlanta and a combination of me sharing my initial experience during the purchasing process. I felt helpless and completely frustrated with having a terrible buying experience, a new car out of alignment, terrible customer service from Toyota South, and no resolution of accountability from the Toyota Corporate office. After getting a second opinion to truly verify that I was within reason about the car being out of alignment, I contacted Toyota Corporate office again on 1/11/2020 [#2001110553] as a follow up to the original complaint. Aden, my now assigned case manager, informed me that my original case wasn’t followed through with an assigned case manager as it should, apologized, and attempted to connect me with Toyota South again. The Customer Relations Manager, Brown Lynn, was extremely rude. The service manager attempted to make up for the experience and offered to fix the vehicle himself. On 1/18/2020, I returned to Toyota South to have my car aligned and balanced. The technician, TONY, apologized to me and stated that my car was terribly out of alignment and unbalanced. He provided me with a print out of my alignment with the specifications and range. He discovered my car was never properly aligned the two attempts I made with the dealership because the system was not properly updated to service my vehicle. My car was being balanced and aligned with a 2018 Rav4. I was FLABBERGASTED. I asked Tony and the advisor, Justin Guirand, how could such an oversight exist for so long. Where was this report the other TWO occasions I came to the dealership? They could not offer me a rational explanation, but instead, apologized and assured me the car was fixed. Finally, my steering wheel wasn’t crooked and wasn’t pulling to the right, and I didn’t feel all bumps on the road. Adam from Toyota Corporate reached out on 1/21/2020 and was updated on the results. Happy that the issue was fixed, he asked to close my case. I agreed but told him that I look for some form of accountability for the duress I incurred from Sept. 2019 – Jan. 2020 for a system update oversight. Adam informed me that there wasn’t much he or the office could do other than file the complaints which would be reviewed by stakeholders. He offered to connect me to the same Customer Relations Manager, Brown Lynn, again as they are an independent dealer and primarily responsible. After reaching her again, she continued to accuse me of damaging the vehicle, stated that I should have brought the car in for a third time earlier, there was nothing she could do to accommodate me for the oversight of selling me a new car out of alignment and unbalanced and stated that me complaining to Toyota Corporate would continue to lead to her, a dead end. Frustrated, I reached back out to Adam and filed another complaint. Adam never sent me a case # and no one followed up which indicated that a complaint was never logged. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS WHERE IT WILL BE APPRECIATED. INSPECT YOUR VEHICLE WITH 2ND AND 3RD OPINIONS. I encourage car buyers to seek out more reputable dealerships other than Toyota South for your car buying experience. More

Service After Sale. I recently purchased a 2019 Infinity Xc60, from Toyota South of Atlanta on Jonesboro Rd. When I asked for help on repairs to a headlight compartment retaining moisture; Tony, the Service Manager offered to pay labor cost, if I agreed to paid for parts. He actually laughed as he said, "you brought it as is; we rely on CarFax to sale our used vehicles and no damages were reported." Having spent more than $47,000 of my hard-earned savings on my retirement car; I'm left totally disrespected, disappointed, and stuck with an estimated $2,000 repair bill. More should be expected from Toyota South of Atlanta. More

I went to this dealership to buy a pre-owned car and left with a brand new car. Mr. Adrian Jones was my consultant and through him it was a great experience.
