Dealing with the Internet/Fleet department was originally painless prior to purchase of vehicle. A refundanble deposit was given over the phone to secure an incoming Sienna. Deposit left on 9/16, production also 9/16, told delivery 9/23 (plus/minus a couple of days). I phoned on 9/23 to check status and was told that salesperson made a mistake; delivery wouldn't not be until first week of October. No problem... phoned again 9/30, left message, and my call was avoided. So, 10/1 I called again to speak to someone other than my salesperson. Again, this new person was friendly and professional. I "played" the new customer and asked if I wanted to put a deposit down on this particular vehicle. I went ahead, at that point, to explain my situation since I just found out my name was NOT even on the hold list for the vehicle. Sure they charged my credit card, but no backing to show. So, after losing faith I started shopping again. I found a dealership that, after mentioning my bad experience, checked status of that Sienna allocated for Santa Monica. They explained, as much as they hate the thought, that it has landed and probably sold to some other party. Furious, I asked (politely) for my deposit be withrawn. They are making it a bit complex now with asking me to come in the discuss before they refund...! 10/8 Now, and they still claim no Sienna. More
