Quick and easy I had a problem with my car and stopped in without an appointment. Erica Simons was there to help me. I had already communicated with Alexis by email and, thankfully, I was pleasantly surprised by my dealings with Mark Ashtini. He was committed to helping me get the car that I was interested in, without a lot of fuss and wrangling. I was able to state what my goals were and he helped meet them. I am very happy with my new car, the price, and the service I received. More
I've honestly never had such a poor consumer experience I've just moved to the US from Australia and went in to buy a car, during which I was told I didn't have to supply my social security number (my appli I've just moved to the US from Australia and went in to buy a car, during which I was told I didn't have to supply my social security number (my application is still pending). I went to pick the car up and was told I couldn't do so until I had my SSN (which is the first I'd heard of this). I started getting multiple voicemails and near-daily calls requesting my SSN, and accusing me of not trying hard enough to follow up with social security (I was interstate and flew back to LA literally with the sole purpose of visiting social security). Today I received a voicemail informing me they'd voided my contract, and when I called to follow up, I was told by the General Sales Manager Tammy that she'd informed me in person that I needed my SSN, (which is untrue, if this had happened why would I try and pick the car up without it?) and that her staff had informed me via text message that I needed my SSN to pick the car up (which is also untrue and I have the text message chain to confirm). Long story short, she was super rude, and kept interrupting me and speaking over me and blatantly lying about what had happened on the day I went in to purchase the car, and it was so bad I've made my first ever complaint to Consumer Affairs. I get that if I need to provide a SSN and I can't do it that's an issue, but this never would have happened in the first place if I'd been given the right information, and then to be treated so incredibly poorly is just unacceptable. 100% do not go here.
