Despite the busy environment, we were always treated with friendliness and respect by the sales staff, both Dan Burns and Hamid Vabehi, who helped us purchase the Mirai in an affordable way. Chris Baldinaado, in finance patiently guided us through the morass of paperwork required to consummate a purchase, loan and extended warrantee. The one year old Mirai came with two years left on the free hydrogen card, which did not transfer effortlessly, but Hamid, along with George, worked out a work around, until our card can be sent. We are just still waiting on the owner manuals to be sent to us, but we have access to them on-line in the meantime. Dan had been working with us for a couple weeks prior to our visit since we are not from Santa Monica, and he ended up being as helpful and friendly in person, as he was on the phone. Leading up to our purchase, we spoke to several Toyota Mirai owners, all who gave glowing recommendations to Toyota as a company supporting the fuel cell car. We may use a more local Toyota dealer for service and other related car issues, but we are pleased to know the folks at Santa Monica Toyota. More

Thanks to Aaron Desouza, this was the least stressful transaction I have ever had at your dealership. Aaron was helpful, patient, clear, and attentive in every way. He was generous with his time and showed genuine concern when I did not arrive at the agreed time to pick up my car. He was also generous with gasoline, sending me on my way with a full tank, quite unlike the salesperson who sold me a Corolla in 2013 and let me drive it away with an almost empty tank. I have to add that Kevin Lee, the Finance Manager, was extremely pleasant. This is a dealership of which Toyota can be proud. More

Although all the staff was great...I had an incredible experience in particular with salesman, Mayer Kohan, who was extremely knowledgable, kind, resourceful, and easy to work with. I was very lucky that Toyota had the exact car I wanted- the 2018 Highlander Limited Hybrid in the Toasted Walnut Pearl color. The entire process with Toyota was seamless and I will for sure return to Santa Monica Toyota when it is time to turn in my leased car and step into the next one. Big shout-out to Chris Rinker the Service Manager, Jorge Robles the Sales Manager, Brand Specialist Joey Haro, and Chris Baldonado the Finance Manager! For getting me through the process of turning in my old lease and leasing my new Camry SE without having a nervous breakdown. I don't need to tell anyone how stressful it is when buying or leasing a new vehicle. I want to start by giving the highest marks possible to the BDC & Customer Relations Manager, Christopher Rinker. Dealing with Chris Rinker and Jorge Robles was a breath of fresh air. Jorge worked with me to get the best possible deal that made me feel confident I was treated much more than fairly. Christopher Rinker is without question the best customer service professional I have ever encountered. He is an invaluable asset to their team that kept me calm from start to finish. He is the perfect company ambassador who obviously takes pride in his craft. Joey Haro treated me with respect and was enthusiastic and diligent in getting me through the whole process as quickly as possible. It's apparent that he has a great work ethic and competence level that seem to be 'old school'. It's too bad that dedication to detail and service are all but gone today, but the folks I dealt with at Toyota of Santa Monica are great examples of a gold standard of service. I hate going into any type of finance office or business affairs dept., but Chris Baldonado got me though all if the paperwork with good humor and alacrity. Customer service is the most important thing to me and seems to be a dying art. I am a Toyota of Santa Monica customer for life now! More

I bought a beautiful White Prius At other Toyota dealerships, it seemed as though the sales people were not interested in selling a car. I could not find the car I was interested in At other Toyota dealerships, it seemed as though the sales people were not interested in selling a car. I could not find the car I was interested in and there was no communication follow-up with me about finding the Prius that I wished to have. At Toyota Santa Monica I was treated nicely by Jose Alonzo who communicated well with me from the process of purchasing it to picking it up the vehicle. Also, Pete helped me over the phone quickly negotiate a price for the Prius without having me haggle over a price at the dealership for hours.
