Buying my Toyota from this dealership today was the worst experience I’ve ever had buying a car. After calling and visiting several Toyota dealerships the past two days I was called by Hellen and told they h experience I’ve ever had buying a car. After calling and visiting several Toyota dealerships the past two days I was called by Hellen and told they had the RAV4 LE I was looking for and to come in. Once I came in Alfonso was the salesman that was directed to help me and my mom who was there for moral support. Not only did he make us walk two whole lots to see for ourselves that the RAV4 LE was not in fact there but he kept saying he was just checking to see where it was at on his computer. When we finally decided to leave he said he could give us a better deal which would be a RAV4 XLE in silver (which wasn’t the color I was looking for or the model) for a good price. Once he showed us the price and we agreed on it he told us that car was not on their lot as well but at a “sister dealership” and we would have to wait for the car to be brought over, but we would be able to drive off with it once it arrived. After dealing with Alfonso and financing we had to wait an additional 4 hours to be told my car was ready to pick up. Well when we got to the dealership the car that was waiting for me was a RAV4 LE in silver and when we told Alfonso that wasn’t the XLE we purchased he said, “Yeah it’s a RAV4 LE with XLE features”. We told him we were never told it was a RAV4 LE but an XLE because they couldn’t get me the LE in the first place. We decided not to drive off with the car and went inside to try and speak to the managers who gave us the run around and everyone just kept telling us they didn’t understand what happened. Also on further inspection on our part we saw the VIN we were first shown for the RAV4 XLE was changed on the official paperwork for the RAV4 LE that was delivered for us. The manager Giovani told us that if they gave us the XLE at the price we originally paid for they would be losing money and that owasn’t fair for them, per the owner of the dealership who he was going back and forth with to discuss what happened. At the end of the day we were there from 11 in the morning until 7 at night just to be given the run around and sold a car we were lied to about. The salesman here are deceitful and misleading as well as the owner of the dealership who is aware of situations like these but lets them occur. I would recommend you avoid this dealership and take your business anywhere else. More

Stay away from this place! I was there to purchase a new 2024 Corolla. The sales rep and I went over the car. She leaves her desk and returns with the Floor manager. They both congratulate me on my purchase. They both leave their desk to gather some paperwork. They return with the dealership manager. He sits down and tells me he can’t sell it for that price and wanted nearly $2000 more than our already agreed upon offer. I declined and left. After talking to another sales rep at another dealership he said he used to work there and they have a reputation for the bait and switch game. I bought the same car at another dealership for $2500 less. This Dealership manager has no integrity to honor an already committed deal by his staff. This is a huge negative for the dealership and its reputation. I wouldn’t give “Toyota Place” the time of day after that experience and I absolutely wouldn’t recommend them. In fact, I’m posting this on other venues and telling as many as possible of my experience. If I could give them less than one star I would. STAY AWAY FROM TOYOTA PLACE IN GARDEN GROVE, CA. After lots of research online, we found the car we were interested in at ToyotaPlace in Garden Grove (see ads below). After test driving and review of the options, we indicated we would like to purchase the auto at the advertised price (see below). No add-ons. The sales manager came out with a quote different than what was requested at an additional $6,000 ($2k each for paint coating, lojak and security system). We had indicated we did not want those items and the Sales Manager (Tony) indicated he’d need approval to sell the car at the advertised price. Yes, that seems silly doesn’t it. After we waited for about 10-15 minutes, we let the Sale person (Hang Le) and the Manager (Tony), know we would still like to do the deal, but won’t able to stay much longer. It was then that Tony indicated we would not sell the car at the advertised price. I asked for the sales GM’s name and left a message on his machine. I unfortunately am quite soured at the interaction and am embarrassed for those workers there. Hang did a fine job, yet her manager was quite unethical and I see now why the ratings are low. I find it hard to believe Toyota would promote a CPO campaign and let dealers behave like this. I would still do the deal, but would not work with this sales team. Avoid this place. More

The whole experience is comforting, it puts you at ease feeling that you are treated with dignity and honesty. I have dealt with Toyota Place for years , i am 88 years old and I live in Corona and yet i drive the distance because i know that i will get what I want . I tip my hat to you Toyota Place. I highly recommend that you make Toyota Place your first place to visit when you need to buy or lease your next vehicle, you will not regret it my family and friends already are Toyota Place customers. It is the place where customers suddenly become Toyota family members. I love Toyota Place More

Bought a brand new 2022 Toyota Camry xse v6 and after about 70+ miles, check engine light came on, along with this loud, clicking noises from the engine. Took it to the service and was told that one of the cylinders/pistons were defective and they would need to take the whole bottom half of the engine apart and put it back together…. On a brand new car. What’s really angered me and my family was the way they handled the issue. They would just straight up start ignoring all your calls/texts if a problem arises after you sign the lease. Please save yourselves the headache and avoid this dealership like a plague. More

I called you guys and you could get me in the next day- quoted me 2 hours for the repair & it only took your mechanics 1.5 hours to complete and you lightly washed my car. You are my new dealership. Cindy in service was great & all of your staff was very polite & professional. My only suggestion would be to add a coffee vending machine. Lol. Your website says coffee & water & there was no coffee (cashier said because of Covid). I brought my work laptop & was hoping for coffee. Other than that- great job all around. Thank you!! More
I had a very positive experience early on at Toyota Place in Garden Grove. Daryl was especially helpful in making sure my vehicle was properly inspected and serviced. I have not had this kind of treatment with the dealership I purchased from in Anaheim. Even the porters outside were kind and helpful. When I pulled up, all 3 came out to greet me. I not used to this level of appreciation. Whoever is leading, is to be commended. I have now changed my “go to” location for all of my future service needs to this location. More
