I paid for a used Toyota Corolla in full on the day of my visit. As soon as I get teh vehicle home my starter goes out and I have to get it replaced. Also, I have waited almost three months and I still have visit. As soon as I get teh vehicle home my starter goes out and I have to get it replaced. Also, I have waited almost three months and I still have not received the title to my car. When I call I get rudeness and vague answers and empty promises as to when I will receive it. I have called the customer service department and they are less helpful than the associates at the dealership. The customer service rep tells me that pretty much all he can do is call the dealership and have them call me back. What good is that going to do? I now have to go through the BMV and file a report to get anything done. It is sad that I have to go to this extreme. They were kind and courteous until they got my money after you pay you are lucky if you are even able to get someone to talk to you about concerns that you may have. I would NEVER do business with them again and I definitely would not recommend them to anyone on Earth. More

My salesman, Roman, was an absolute life saver. He was attentive, kind and did not make me feel pressured. He showed me the vehicle that best suites my needs and paid close attention to what my needs in attentive, kind and did not make me feel pressured. He showed me the vehicle that best suites my needs and paid close attention to what my needs in a car may become as my life profressed with a family in the future. Roman listened to what I could afford and was willing to go the extra mile to ensure that my monthly payment was exactly what I could afford. Roman ensured that I had no further questions, that I was satisfied with my vehicle, and did not have any concerns. I felt very well taken care of. Mike's willingness to answer all of my questions truly helped me understand my first leasing experience. It was an overall excellent experience. I love that I have a brand new vehicle that is very safe. In addition, it meets my lifestyle needs. More
I purchased a 2009 Toyota Sienna from Toyota of Bedford on Saturday July 31st- remind me never to buy a car on the last day of the month. I live in Erie, PA and drove to Ohio because it was difficult to f on Saturday July 31st- remind me never to buy a car on the last day of the month. I live in Erie, PA and drove to Ohio because it was difficult to find a Used late model Toyota Sienna with All Wheel Drive (I might as well have been looking a unicorn). I hammered out a price for the car and my trade-in over the phone with Danny Rodriguez. Drove the hour + to their dealership, and told them what time I would be there to drive and buy the car. When I arrived the car was not ready- even though I called ahead- I waited about 30 minutes. Test drove the car then went over the vehicle with Danny. I was disappointed by the condition, they had not even detailed the vehicle (which is funny since Danny laughed about the fact that I had detailed my trade-in!). Then I waited 3 HOURS to meet with the finance person. If it was not impossible to find this used Sienna I would have left. After 36 hours back in Erie I noticed damage to the passenger side running board, my bad, I should have asked to put the vehicle on a lift. I called the dealership to ask about the damage and they said it could not have happen on their lot (this was after I called and emailed several times and got no response). Danny sat there during my 3 hour wait and asked me to go on this site to rate the dealership. Here you go. Are all Penske dealerships like this? wow. More
Having continuously owned Toyotas since 1969... I have excellent knowledge of Toyotas. The salesman was equally excellent, very knowledgeable, and worked with my wife and I to arrive at the model that sat excellent knowledge of Toyotas. We knew we wanted to buy a Prius and shopped through a buying service to find a dealer with the best price. Toyota of Bedford gave the best offer. Our negotiations with Ric over the phone were easy and buying service to find a dealer with the best price. Toyota of Bedford gave the best offer. Our negotiations with Ric over the phone were easy and specific. When we went to actually buy the car a few questions came up and Katie and Mike, the general manager were quick and extremely helpful in resolving them. Andrew, another salesman, was also very helpful. He drives a Prius and, even though he was not our salesman, he spent alot of time showing us how the Prius works and how to drive it. His enthusiasim and willingness to help us, combined with the efforts of Katie and Mike, made Toyota of Bedford seem like a "team operation" that cared about customer needs rather than simply personal commissions. Poor (read that NO) attention to my presence when I stopped in to see about leasing a car. Had my check book and was ready to deal but got no response to even being on the showroom floor. Cell phones stopped in to see about leasing a car. Had my check book and was ready to deal but got no response to even being on the showroom floor. Cell phones and paperwork were more important to staff than saying a quick *Hi , we'll be right with you*. I E-mailed the manager via thier website and didn't get an acknowledgement of the poor service, just a request to let them tell me about the car. No way- bought a TOYOTA across town at Sunnyside in North Olmsted where they were glad to see me and listened to my needs and choices. If they can't say Hello how are they gonna act when you need help with a problem??? More

2 years ago I received a promotional mailer from Toyota of Bedford. I went into the dealership and informed them of my interest and stated: "I am returning to school to pursue a Bachelors degree and need r of Bedford. I went into the dealership and informed them of my interest and stated: "I am returning to school to pursue a Bachelors degree and need reliable transportation, based on my income the EXACT amount I can afford for a car payment is 350.00 or LESS per month, do you have anything reliable for this payment?" The salesman stated yes, but it would require a credit check. We then looked at several cars, I decided I was interested in a hybrid and was then sent to the Finance office to speak with a man named 'Xavier'. He ran my credit check and stated that my payments would be 277.00 per month. This was acceptable. They then informed me after a 20 min wait that they had no models of that car in stock, but would have one in 2 months. They then stated they could put me in a Buick for that 2 month period and then transfer the terms. It was clearly stated after I carefully reviewed the contract that the total selling price would increase, but my payment amount would be the same. So I signed and agreed. 2 MONTHS LATER: when the car arrived I returned from the dealership. 'Xavier' met me at the front door and shook my hand, he then stated he was please to tell me the new car was in and he simply needed to run my credit check again... I said OK. He returned and had a contract and stated 'good news' your APR went down almost a full point so I saved you some cash, just sign the bottom here. He then set the contract, with the top half set down to the signature line and the keys on the slim counter and handed me the pen He said the only change is the final payment amount as we discussed and of course the name of the car model! So I signed and left. 1 month later I got my first bill, it was not 277 as AGREED TO, it was 650!!! I drove straight to the manager’s office and confronted them in person, to my horror they had tricked me into signing a contract which had 650 per MONTH payments!!! I stated this must be a typographical error, please let me speak to 'Xavier', he will clear this up. The manager stated he no longer worked there and the signature was valid. He offered to re-posses the vehicle and auctions it where I would be responsible for the excess payment and then if I pass a credit check put me in another car. For the next 2 years I tried to re-negotiate based on the ORIGINAL contract I signed but Toyota financial and Toyota of Bedford REFUSE to help. I cannot even get a bank to re-finance me because they state " As a financial institution we cannot approve a re-finance for this car because it exceeds your debt to income ratio, we don’t even know how you could get approved for this with a 650$ payment!?! Sorry" Same story with Chase, National City, PNC, and even the local banks... I cannot afford to allow a 'repo', no bank will re-finance me, I have been financially damaged GREATLY by being forced to pay 650 rather than 277 per month, and Toyota will not look at the original contract or allow me to re-finance. I will NOT buy my next car for them. Awful, lousy team!!! I had so many concerns with my roughly 2 yr/o RAV4 – under warranty – of course they cannot find the problems I was complaining for months.
