I bought my Toyota Camry in December 2007. The car is great. The service once I bought the car was awful. I called and complained to the manager. He had the assistant manager call me back. I was informed great. The service once I bought the car was awful. I called and complained to the manager. He had the assistant manager call me back. I was informed that they would get back to me.The sales person I had a problem with is the one who returned my call. I only got one key for the car. I was told that the service department could make me ONE key for $250.00. That was their cost. I contacted another dealer who could make me TWO keys for $133.00.I decided to give up with this dealership. In July 2008 I took a long trip in my Camry. I ended up having 2-3 inches of water in my front and back floors. I thought maybe I had a leak. It was discovered that my air-conditioner was draining back in my car. I immediately called the service department. They informed me that i could just bring my car in and they could unclog the drain. Iwas able to leave work and take my car to them. I once again called and they said no problem. I explained once again the situation. I drove 25 miles to the dealer. Once there the service department informed me that my car was out of warranty and that it would cost $90.00 an hour for them to look at it. The gentleman informed me that Dan who talked to me did not have enough information on my car to inform me of that.Needless to say I left with my car. It seems like this dealership in all departments can care less once you have made youe purchase.. I will not recommend to anyone.. Don Joseph of Kent informed me that it would cost approximately $45.00 for this. They even let me know that if it is easy to fix they would not charge me at all. I cannot believe that once again another dealership is much cheaper... By the way the recorded messages from Toyota that come for special occasions can stop. I received a call for 6 month anniversary of buying car, and a happy birthday message. What good are these if you cannot satisfy a customer. More
I went in to purchase a 2008 Yaris. I was allowed to test-drive the Yaris and was very impressed with it! However when it was time for the "SALE" I was told my credit score was NOT UP TO PAR. Not by the test-drive the Yaris and was very impressed with it! However when it was time for the "SALE" I was told my credit score was NOT UP TO PAR. Not by the dealer, but by the finance officer there. Little did he know that I already came there with my credit score which I told him so he changed his story to "this credit reporting agency isn't good enough". OK well I went to another dealership. On 3/24 or 3/25 I stated, in an email, that I had chosen to go with another dealership because I could not afford the insurance on the Yaris for 2008 models. All further correspondence between the dealership and I stopped on good terms. HOWEVER.... On April 14, 2008 I received a letter from Wells Fargo stating that I was approved for an auto loan for the 2008 Yaris with Toyota of Bedford! [what???] Now I have to go through the trouble to see if Toyota of Bedford is not running a scam on me! I have to call Wells Fargo and also the Sales/Lease Rep at Toyota (of Bedford) to make sure that they fully understand that I am no longer in the market for purchasing a car from their dealership.
