So drove almost 3 hours to look at a car at his place. Had a few things that I was unsure of because the car had been modified by the previous owner. Talked out a price and put down a deposit at close on a Sunday. Was told take my time and let them know when I can. Call the salesman back on Tuesday telling him to start the paperwork and I would take the car. Don't hear back by Thursday after work so I call and my salesman is out till the weekend. Kinda upset but whatever, just wish he had informed me beforehand. Transfer me to finance and he checks into it and comes back telling me they sold the car to someone else because I did not get back with them. I inform him I talked to the salesman on Tuesday and had been told to take my time and with looking at the parts. What a bunch of crooks? Who sells a car that has a deposit on it and the price had already been negotiated and then the manager even recounts that he said I could take my time looking into it. Only good thing was they are refunding my deposit. I would never recommend anyone deal with these people. More
I recently bought a used 2006 Scion Tc from Toyota of Bedford. I had a horrible experience from the get go to be brief here are all the problems I had: 1.) Tia was RUDE and even said at one point “lo Bedford. I had a horrible experience from the get go to be brief here are all the problems I had: 1.) Tia was RUDE and even said at one point “look are you going to buy the car or not...I don't play these price games" 2.) I waited 3 hours to see someone in the finance department 3.) My car was a week late getting to me and when I was literally on my way to pick it up on the scheduled time was called and told it wasn't ready and they didn't know when it would be ready 4.) My temp. tags where about to expire so I had to call the dealership and ask where the title was because I couldn't get my plates transferred it took 3 days, talking to 3 different people, and my temp. tags actually expiring for them to have to bring me tags at work because I refused to drive with expired tags 5.) After just 1 month a had problems with the steering and tires and was told what was wrong probably wouldn't be covered under the certification which was part of the agreement when I agreed to the price of the vehicle 6.) The Scion customer service was not helpful when I called to tell them all the above issues...they simply said all they could do was contact the dealership with my report and they would follow up 7.) The GM never got involved or contacted me or returned any of my calls nor was every available when I called and asked to speak to him 8.) I ended up taking a huge hit financially and had to trade the car in because I was not going to pay to have the car fixed and after all the problems I had with the dealership didn't trust that they would REALLY fix the car anyway and felt unsafe in it 9.) I found out when I traded the car in that they probably never even had the car inspected for the certification 10.) After all of the above listed problems....I STILL HAVE YET TO GET A CALL RETURNED FROM THE GM My experience with Toyota of Bedford proved them to be unreliable, unprofessional, and a rip off. I legally can't do anything and they made so much money off me while I lost out on thousands!!! More
I paid for a used Toyota Corolla in full on the day of my visit. As soon as I get teh vehicle home my starter goes out and I have to get it replaced. Also, I have waited almost three months and I still have visit. As soon as I get teh vehicle home my starter goes out and I have to get it replaced. Also, I have waited almost three months and I still have not received the title to my car. When I call I get rudeness and vague answers and empty promises as to when I will receive it. I have called the customer service department and they are less helpful than the associates at the dealership. The customer service rep tells me that pretty much all he can do is call the dealership and have them call me back. What good is that going to do? I now have to go through the BMV and file a report to get anything done. It is sad that I have to go to this extreme. They were kind and courteous until they got my money after you pay you are lucky if you are even able to get someone to talk to you about concerns that you may have. I would NEVER do business with them again and I definitely would not recommend them to anyone on Earth. More

My salesman, Roman, was an absolute life saver. He was attentive, kind and did not make me feel pressured. He showed me the vehicle that best suites my needs and paid close attention to what my needs in attentive, kind and did not make me feel pressured. He showed me the vehicle that best suites my needs and paid close attention to what my needs in a car may become as my life profressed with a family in the future. Roman listened to what I could afford and was willing to go the extra mile to ensure that my monthly payment was exactly what I could afford. Roman ensured that I had no further questions, that I was satisfied with my vehicle, and did not have any concerns. I felt very well taken care of. Mike's willingness to answer all of my questions truly helped me understand my first leasing experience. It was an overall excellent experience. I love that I have a brand new vehicle that is very safe. In addition, it meets my lifestyle needs. More
I purchased a 2009 Toyota Sienna from Toyota of Bedford on Saturday July 31st- remind me never to buy a car on the last day of the month. I live in Erie, PA and drove to Ohio because it was difficult to f on Saturday July 31st- remind me never to buy a car on the last day of the month. I live in Erie, PA and drove to Ohio because it was difficult to find a Used late model Toyota Sienna with All Wheel Drive (I might as well have been looking a unicorn). I hammered out a price for the car and my trade-in over the phone with Danny Rodriguez. Drove the hour + to their dealership, and told them what time I would be there to drive and buy the car. When I arrived the car was not ready- even though I called ahead- I waited about 30 minutes. Test drove the car then went over the vehicle with Danny. I was disappointed by the condition, they had not even detailed the vehicle (which is funny since Danny laughed about the fact that I had detailed my trade-in!). Then I waited 3 HOURS to meet with the finance person. If it was not impossible to find this used Sienna I would have left. After 36 hours back in Erie I noticed damage to the passenger side running board, my bad, I should have asked to put the vehicle on a lift. I called the dealership to ask about the damage and they said it could not have happen on their lot (this was after I called and emailed several times and got no response). Danny sat there during my 3 hour wait and asked me to go on this site to rate the dealership. Here you go. Are all Penske dealerships like this? wow. More
Having continuously owned Toyotas since 1969... I have excellent knowledge of Toyotas. The salesman was equally excellent, very knowledgeable, and worked with my wife and I to arrive at the model that sat excellent knowledge of Toyotas. We knew we wanted to buy a Prius and shopped through a buying service to find a dealer with the best price. Toyota of Bedford gave the best offer. Our negotiations with Ric over the phone were easy and buying service to find a dealer with the best price. Toyota of Bedford gave the best offer. Our negotiations with Ric over the phone were easy and specific. When we went to actually buy the car a few questions came up and Katie and Mike, the general manager were quick and extremely helpful in resolving them. Andrew, another salesman, was also very helpful. He drives a Prius and, even though he was not our salesman, he spent alot of time showing us how the Prius works and how to drive it. His enthusiasim and willingness to help us, combined with the efforts of Katie and Mike, made Toyota of Bedford seem like a "team operation" that cared about customer needs rather than simply personal commissions. Poor (read that NO) attention to my presence when I stopped in to see about leasing a car. Had my check book and was ready to deal but got no response to even being on the showroom floor. Cell phones stopped in to see about leasing a car. Had my check book and was ready to deal but got no response to even being on the showroom floor. Cell phones and paperwork were more important to staff than saying a quick *Hi , we'll be right with you*. I E-mailed the manager via thier website and didn't get an acknowledgement of the poor service, just a request to let them tell me about the car. No way- bought a TOYOTA across town at Sunnyside in North Olmsted where they were glad to see me and listened to my needs and choices. If they can't say Hello how are they gonna act when you need help with a problem??? More
