Let me start by saying that my original purchase of my 2022 Tundra back in Late March of 2022 was excellent. Bill was the sales agent and even though he had just started working there he made me feel very 2022 Tundra back in Late March of 2022 was excellent. Bill was the sales agent and even though he had just started working there he made me feel very welcomed and if he didn't know the answer to something he went above and beyond to make sure and get me an answer. Gene later came in and only added more exceptional customer service. Between him and Bill we were able to make the purchase happen and then Dino from finance made the transaction even smoother by not pressuring me at all with additional coverage. I couldn't be happier with the service I got. A couple days later I raised a concern I had to Gene about scratches to my vehicle and he told me to bring it on by and he would have the detail department take care of it. Well, several days later I noticed even more scratches and all my plastic trims started turning white due to someone actually waxing all over the plastics of the truck (window seals, bed plastics, fender guards etc.) I was not happy but then the service department made sure to address the issue. Rob then got in contact with me and told me that I shouldn't have to deal with these issues on a brand new vehicle and told me that service department would be in contact with me to make it right. I was in contact with Alyssa at this point and she went above and beyond by reassuring me that she would change out all the plastics and even take the truck to a professional detailing shop but that it would be a little bit of time before all the parts came in. They went ahead and provided me with a rental for several days which I was very grateful for. My truck was finally done with the Detailing portion and I was told to come by to check it out and make sure I was ok with the work and so we could touch base on the rest of the issues (the trims etc.) I took the truck back and was told there were still some parts we were waiting on and that once they were in they would let me know so I could bring the truck back and that it would take about a week or so. Weeks later there was still no ETA on some parts and finally decided to show up to the Dealership and to our surprise the parts had been there who knows how long. At this point everyone was already frustrated and I was given another vehicle while mine stayed at the dealer to be worked on. Alyssa became frustrated at one point and so did while we were having a conversation over the phone, to me it came off as rude but I can understand her frustration on taking such a big task. We were later able to have another conversation and she was apologetic which speaks volumes in my book. At the end Rob had mentioned that I was just not going to be happy with the truck once it was given back to me and he was right, but he did take responsibility for all the miscommunication and the bad job the dealership had done with my truck and he offered to just buy back my truck for the exact price it was sold to me and put me in another 2022 Tundra. To me this showed that they do care about their clients and that they are willing to work with you. In the end I gave it a 4 star just because of the amount of time I had to wait to get my truck back at a decent looking state due to miscommunication between the departments at the dealership. But overall, even though there were times of frustration and some anger, everyone still was professional and went above and beyond to make me a happy customer and I just want to say Thank you to everyone that was involved including Kelsey Ritland who was always giving me updates on the status of the work done on my truck, More
These guys saved my bacon. A lot of dealerships charge thousands over MSRP just cause they can, Toyota of Bellingham does not. One dealership treated us like nothing more than a pocket book, another one was pretty shady and misleading in answering my questions. Toyota of B’ham was honest, responsive and the only dealership I felt at ease with and like I did not need to be on my toes with. They are so honest and forthright they ultimately gave up a sale and helped us locate our specific truck at another dealer for MSRP, exactly what we wanted, at no benefit to them. The only regret I have is that they did not get my sale and I believe the pandemic and the specifics of our truck is what made it so. I am very grateful to them for being the only dealership that I trusted in purchasing my first new vehicle. Thank you Roy, Lindsay and Rob! More
