I’ve dealt with too many car salesman and until I did business with Roy Armani ive never been willing to recommend any of them to my friends and family. Roy is the first Saleman I’ve had complete confidence and trust in. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional and listened to what I wanted instead of what he wanted to sell me! He make the sale because he found us the perfect car which I had described. Which he found at a different dealership. Front differential bearing My 2014 Tacoma Sport had a noisy needle bearing. This was noted during test drive when I purchased vehicle with just over 58,000 miles on it. Pointed My 2014 Tacoma Sport had a noisy needle bearing. This was noted during test drive when I purchased vehicle with just over 58,000 miles on it. Pointed this out to sales person and he arranged to have one of the mechanics drive with me accpomanying. He did not hear the noise. I went ahead and purchased the vehicle. The noise persisted, and became more noticable. Returned and took different mechanic with ride with me and I drove on a smoother surfaced street. This time the mechanic definitely heard the noise and said he had run into this issue before. On our return to the shop he found an applicable technical bulletin. Although the TB specified replacing the Left side needle bearing, it was instead replaced with a bushing bearing. I questioned this, and was told by the Service Mgr. that the bushing bearing was a more reliable and longer lasting fix, and that Toyota would not cover under warranty if repair done as specified in TB. He said that the TB was dated 2015 and both the Regional Warranty Rep., and Toyota Engineering approved the bushing replacement for the needle bearing. The noise is gone, and I trust this repair will last at least as long as the needle bearing (58,000 miles). More
